A family-authorized George Floyd biopic titled “Daddy Changed the World” is in the works from Radar Pictures, 8 Queens Film & Media Productions and Night Fox Entertainment. Floyd’s daughter, Gianna Floyd, and her mother, Roxie Washington, are involved in the making of the film, serving as executive producers.
Gregory R. Anderson (“Stomp the Yard”) will write the screenplay for the movie, which will capture the life of the man whose murder in 2020 sparked a global racial reckoning and fueled the movement against police brutality. The film is still in search for a director. Ted Field serves as producer for Radar Pictures, alongside Dr. Kaeita Rankin for 8 Queens and Timothy Christian for Night Fox.

The biopic will apparently not portray Floyd as a perfect person, but rather a father with human flaws, whose horrific death changed the world. It will not be a traditional biopic, more a “gritty drama of a man and his community thrust into the fiery light of history,” according to a press release.

Finally, something good to watch

Will him holding the pregnant woman at knifepoint or ingesting a fatal dose of fentanyl be shown ? Or him saying he can’t breathe before he’s even in the police car… that he never once cooperates so the cop has to take him down to the ground to get him to stop wiggling…
I’m sure this will be a true account for sure and definitely not to stoke more racial tension

This could be the Zoomer's Citizen Kane. Or Big Daddy Kane. Either way, got my popcorn ready.

I wish they would make a REAL George Floyd movie, directed by Abel Ferrara in the vain of Bad Lieutenant.

Daddy Changed the World
Changed this country for the worse. It was amazing how parts of the country went from only being concerned about Covid to not giving a shite about Covid while parts of different cities burned on live tv because people that never gave a shite about Covid were allowed to roam the streets with almost zero consequences. Then, less than a year later people who didn’t give a shite about The Summer of Love, not the people that were hurt, not the businesses destroyed, all lost their collective mind because people went into the Capital. Hypocrisy at its finest, which is why I’ve never gave two shits about Jan 6. So yeah, a daddy that probably wouldn’t have had shite to do with you changed the world, but not for the better.
