Geena Davis details alleged abuse she suffered from Bill Murray

Davis first accused the actor in October of using a massage tool on her in her hotel room despite her refusal in 1989 in her memoir “Dying of Politeness.” Now, she detailed the alleged on-set incident while appearing on New York magazine’s “On with Kara Swisher.”
quote:
So I perched on the corner of the bed and let him do it, and he did it for like one second, and then didn’t ask how I liked it or anything. So I realized it was just to see if he could force me to do something inappropriate,” Davis alleged.
The actress said that none of the other men in the room attempted to stop Murray.

According to the “Beetlejuice” star, the alleged abuse continued into the next day when the film started shooting.
“We were shooting a huge scene out on an intersection in Manhattan with hundreds of extras and giant crew and all that stuff. And they said, ‘We’re ready for you to come to set,’ ” explained Davis. “Well, costumes asked me to wait here one second. Can I do that, or should I come with you? He said, ‘No, no, no.’ The AD said, ‘No, go ahead. Wait here.’ “
Davis revealed that mere seconds after the assistant director left, Murray — in full clown costume — reportedly stormed into her dressing room and screamed at her.
quote:
And he got behind me and screamed in my ear, ‘Move! Move faster! Move it!’ And we’re getting to this intersection where there’s hundreds of people watching this, and he keeps it up and keeps it up until he says, ‘Stand there’ and points to a mark on the pavement and starts shooting,” she alleged.
Murray then supposedly came up to her after a couple of takes and asked her what was going on.

According to the podcast’s host, Kara Swisher, Murray has been accused by Solange Knowles of touching her hair after she repeatedly asked him not to and his “Charlie’s Angles” co-star Lucy Liu accused him of “inappropriate” and “inexcusable” comments that were made to her on the set of the 2000 spy flick.

I often wonder how journalists come up with a movie to associate an actor with the readers.
Is that considered her best movie?
You'd think if she's accusing a man of abuse, the writer would've used Thelma and Louise or women empowerment, A League of their own.

Is this cause he supported the Trump tax cuts?
ETA: He's known for being difficult. He probably doesn't give a frick what people think, thats why we love him.

If there’s a celebrity the internet won’t allow to be cancelled, it’s Bill Murray.

That's where you're not completely right. Reddit already turned on him because they posted the awkward interview he did with Geena Davis on Arsenio.

This must have happened on Quick Change. Truly underrated movie.

Weird how these incidents never come out until someone writes a memoir

I always enjoy when people say “Home Alone 2 star” or “reality show host” when talking about Trump.
So petty but

What are the chances Marvel cuts Bill Murray's scenes in Ant Man next month?

Quick Change is a great movie, but I believe Davis on this.

I truly don’t care. Murray is likable because of his brash attitude and sarcastic dgaf aura. Geena is trying to sell a book.

I read all that and I cant see where the harassment is? Am I miss reading this or missing something?

You're not missing anything. She's a professional victim nowadays and even runs a "Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media"
She also likes to claim she had it tough as a woman in Hollywood.....even though she benefited greatly from her marriage to Renny Harlin who cast her as the lead in his movies.

So the accusation of sexual assault happened 34 years ago and it took this long to come out? Plus, accusations from an actress from a movie that was released in 2000? Did these people miss the whole Me Too movement? I just don’t understand why if something happened, why not speak up when it actually happened, not decades later.
