Sorry if this has been covered, but now that we understand Dany is the "final boss" rather than Cersei, who kills her? Arya? Jon?
I'd say it has to be Jon at this point.

The worst possible scenario would have been Dany as some benevolent ruler loved by all.
That’s not what I want and nobody expected that

Then you just have minor details like a few weeks ago, Jon could hide behind a rock and be safe from Viserion's fire. This episode, Drogon's fire is a laser beam that cuts through everything but is delicate enough to give some people only first degree burns on side of their face?
Jon is Targaryen. That’s why he’s safe from Dragon Fire. It wasn’t the rock that kept him safe.

I'm pretty sure this is completely wrong. As others have stated targaryens aren't just all completely immune to fire.

LMAO were past that. You have no idea GRRM didn’t plan this.
Sorry but I think he would have vetoed this was that far off.

Danny had a brother earlier in the series who got killed by melted metal... Danny so far seems the only freak of unburnt nature.
But I think The ice dragon was wounded so maybe weaker, but still pretty hefty plot armor for John. The ice dragon took out giant massive wall too. little rubble john took cover behind was silly.

What exactly did the whole Night King story accomplish? None of that even mattered.

Ummm... he came up with a way to save the whole city.. and it worked!
Too bad for him Dany went mad queen. Tyrion played all the right shots. He did what he could do and will now die for it.
Did none of you notice the green explosions? Cersie rigged the city to blow. Cersie was prepared for the city to fall, but planned to nuke it and kill off the northman and Essos troops alike in the process. Dany knew Cersie was planning on her opponents to be merciful, so she knew Cersie was going to hold the city hostage and torch the hostage if Dany won. Dany decided to call her bluff and torch it herself. All of those peasants were going to die no matter what.

FWIW... in the "Behind the Episode" featurette... Benioff said they wanted to show the horror on the ground but needed to show it though the eyes of a character we love
hence... Arya's role in tonight's episode

A lot has been made her burning the people, but let's just point out- these aren't "her people". She's made that point a couple times since coming over, and it's shown by how she understand "over here" that no one loves her like they do in Essos. She hasn't spent a moment in Westeros until she landed to take it in force.
She cites several examples of what "the people" could do, rebel as Meereen did, etc. They didn't, they flocked to hide under Cersei's skirts. They did not love her, they wouldn't after she took KL. They WOULD love Jon, and she put that out on the table. He passed. So, she said they would have to fear her.
Cersei made a point of saying the Red Keep has never fallen, so she wiped out that entire city. No one in their right mind would dare stand against her now, because she made multiple offers of peace that had been refused, and so she brought straight HELL down on them.
In her Mad Queen mind, she made the right call- decisive, overwhelming and brutal victory against her strongest opponent. Told them it was coming, then she brought it. In her reasoning, that should guarantee future peace.

I’ve read all the books 3x. I don’t post during episodes so I can catch everything. You apologists can keep parroting the “it was so obvious” bullshite, but anyone with a brain knows that this is an utter betrayal. I feel bad for Emilia Clarke
In the books didn’t she have everyone in Meereen over the age of 12 executed?

My Thoughts:
Just finished. As someone who went into this episode skeptical and kinda nervous the show I've invested so long would end out on a whimper, and someone who's been pretty critical of the somewhat lazy writing of this season, I can say right now I'm mindblowned. And it's in a good way. That was the pinnacle of the show. So much has come full circle. Characters I've spent years despising, I've fell shockingly empathic for. Despite the nitpicking, I can't complain. That was, I think, the best episode of the series. I'm so looking forward to see how the song of ice (Jon) and fire (Dany) concludes.

So you are okay with Jaime dying like a bitch?

I never said it wasn’t absurd. But isn’t that what craziness or madness really is?
You are just pissed that she isn’t the savior and you cannot accept that she was never meant to the savior. She went to Westeros for selfish reasons. That’s undeniable.
Also, to say that her foray into madness came out of left field is horseshite. It’s always been hovering in the background. She almost had to become the bad guy once R + L = J was confirmed. After that did you really think Jon/Aegon was just going to marry his aunt and live happily ever after? They would just work together and she’d be cool with playing second fiddle?
She’s veruca salt. And always has been.
