You think she was killing slave owners based off of if they beat their slaves or not?

Not the fact that they just owned slaves in general?

it's not great, but there's a big jump from that to saying "ehhhh, who cares about these kids."

She kills them out of spite and revenge. She has no idea which slave owners actually deserve to die. Barristan Selmy even begs for her to not do it and she does it anyway.

Also she does not kill all of them at once there. She randomly picks 163 to represent the 163 kids they crucified. She had absolutely no interest in true justice in that situation. She wanted blood b/c she was pissed off. In doing that she turned ALL the masters against her. That wouldn't have been the case had she listened to Selmy.

They then cut off her best friends head and the person she loved rejected her.

She does it because she doesn’t believe in slavery. She doesn’t believe slave owners should even exist.

This season has been rushed to the point of almost ruining legit plot arcs.

I've been fine with everything that's happened this season, the speed they are doing it cheapens it though.

If that was true all of the masters would have been killed. She does NOT kill all of them at that point. She even MARRIES one of them.

Apparently Northerners and Dothraki are cold blooded killers and rapists who got triggered at the bells too.

You know what bloodlust is? Aware of...well, pretty much every sack of a city in history?

When men get to killing, it’s hard to stop them once their blood gets up. The beast takes over all but the best of them.

We’re high minded now, but there’s killers and rapists in all of us under the right conditions.

Didn’t surprise me in the least.

Witty response.

And it’s laughable that you think D&D are responsible for her character going this direction.

It was always trending in that direction.

How much more do you need to be spoon fed?

How much is enough time for her to jump off the deep end?

It was building for a long time. You just missed it. But by all means, keep raging.

General audiences decided she was a "good guy" awhile ago and are too stupid or blind to see how selfish and brutal she really is, and has been.

I predict a lot of meltdowns about the subject.

I honealty Think the one thing they’ve done a decent job of showing is Dany sorta descending into madness.

Or just giving up her ideals for pragmatism.

Yep. She goes from bad arse war hero to basically a scared little girl.
What exactly would you have wanted her to do while millions of people are getting torched around her by a huge fricking dragon?

Yeah I think the green fire was blowing up from where it was stored. Pretty sure Cersei was actually stupid enough to believe she would win.

I figured Cersei wanted to make sure DT would be "Queen of the Ashes"... so she made sure the Wildfire was around to add to any damage from the dragonfire

plus Jon/Aegon called for the withdrawal when he saw green flames of Wildfire

Good take. I gave up on a satisfying plot resolution a couple of weeks ago, but this is right on. I really did feel sorry for Cersei and Jaime. She was reduced to being a little girl, and Jaime was who he was because of her, and he was bound to it.

After watching the replay just now, I think Dany lost it and burned the city because she'd concluded that Jon had made them surrender, and therefore would get the praise for resolving the war with minimal bloodshed, and become king. She didn't want it to be Jon's victory, so she torched the city and all of Jon's new admiring subjects.

At least, that's what I would do if I was a crazy bitch.

Looololollolololololol at that abortion of an episode.

They've completely gone off the rails and ruined the series.

So what's your take, man? I thought they were going to run some kind of immigration propaganda with the Dothraki, but now that Dany is evil, her army can't really win or stay.

Easy solution - Arya kills her, steals her face and rules Westeros, as Dany, happily ever after. And all the immigrants can stay.

They killed Rhaegal like he wasn’t shite. She was absolutely not counting on Drogon fricking up everything as far as the eye could see. She figured as soon as he showed up, Euron would kill him immediately. Instead, they got a total of two shots off total. Drogon dies, they don’t even get in the gate.
