On another note, in the trailer for next week, where the frick did all of those Dothraki and Unsullied come from? She had a fraction of them left after Winterfell and we can assume that she lost at least some taking King's Landing.
The writing has just been sloppy with things thrown in for effect, like last week with her army of unsullied (also much smaller than what was in the trailer) just standing within range of the archers and scorpions at KL and Cersei does not fire on them even though they AND her last dragon are sitting ducks.

Yeah I think the green fire was blowing up from where it was stored. Pretty sure Cersei was actually stupid enough to believe she would win.

So you are okay with Jaime dying like a bitch?
No, I don't like my favorite character in the entire series dying in a pile of rocks at the bottom of the Red Keep. I also didn't like Ned Stark getting his head chopped off at the end of the first season. Nor did I like Robb and Catelyn going out the way they did. Nor did I like Mufasa getting merked by his own brother. How nice would it be if all my favorite characters lived or died the way I wanted to. Good thing I like being left entertained, bewildered, and impacted by things I watch.

That was, I think, the best episode of the series.

That is completely out of touch with her character of the past 8 years.
Go back and watch what went down in Meereen and get back to me. She was going nuts and over the top killing anyone who opposed her way back then. This is NOTHING new for her.
I'm no sure why some of you are completely blind to how fricking horrible she is to people when she gets pissed at them.

This wildfire was the bit that was placed by Aerys Targaryen when he planned to blow up the city. It has been hinted before that there were stores of it still below.
I thought Cersei may do what you are saying until the writers went out of their way to show that she actually thought she would win.

You are just pissed that she isn’t the savior and you cannot accept that she was never meant to the savior. She went to Westeros for selfish reasons. That’s undeniable.
Also, to say that her foray into madness came out of left field is horseshite. It’s always been hovering in the background. She almost had to become the bad guy once R + L = J was confirmed. After that did you really think Jon/Aegon was just going to marry his aunt and live happily ever after? They would just work together and she’d be cool with playing second fiddle?
You keep making up these lazy, convenient positions for me
I have never been a fan of her character, nor did I ever think she would win. I didn’t think there’d be a throne at all.

Which of the women and children running for cover in the streets were opposing her?

Oh yeah I was agreeing with you. I never thought she was going to blow up the city either.

Sorry bro, you should’ve known she’d be a genocidal monster from those scenes. How could you not have seen it?

In fairness, with how they have escalated it over the last few episodes, it seems rushed and a bit forced. That said, you are correct. We got a glimpse of it in the episode where she had defeated the army that Randyll Tarly led and then proceeded to fry them all to a crisp and then executed Randyll and Dickon, despite Tyrion's advising against it. He had that similar disquieted look when she did that then. She has had her "burn them all" moments.

She said in this episode that everyone saw her mercy as weakness and that she wanted future generations to know her mercy was a strength. FUTURE generations.

Even the people saying "she burned Dickon" blah blah aren't acknowledging she gave them the chance to say "Nah, I'm not gonna serve the evil queen in charge." Those were soldiers literally fighting for Cersei and she gave them a chance. Tonight she just obliterated a bunch of poor dudes, moms and cute kids.

Your position is clear. I stated that her descent into madness has been telegraphed for a long time and you replied with something like “you can’t be serious”
Like I said, you have to be wilfully blind to have not seen this coming. It wasn’t rushed. At all. It was inevitable. You just suck at connecting the dots.

Drogon is the perfect eraser in this case.

i really don't care that much now tbh. im tempted to read the leaks so i have multiple days to brace myself for the level of cringe the final episode reaches.

Again, go back and watch the show during her time in Meereen. She was already down to kill innocents.
When she kills the masters via crucifixion she has no idea which ones opposed brutality towards slaves and who actually deserved it. She has them all killed without giving a flying frick.
When she has no idea who is leading the Sons of the Harpy she randomly starts killing nobles. She straight up tells them she has no idea if they are guilty or not and then has her dragon fry some people.

Burning prisoners of war is usually considered a bad thing.
