Two dragons have now died from being in useless, illogical situations. And both in the air from perfect shot placements. Frustrating.

GOT: set ups that these projectiles can take down a dragon for multiple seasons

I have not. I also have not been this season. Although it has gotten more noticeable. Maybe that is because of the story in itself has gotten worse.
But there was a lot of people who brought these things up before. The insta travel and Jamie swimming in full plate were highly discussed.

It’s not abnormal to go to the movie/tv board to discuss an episode/show with other fans of the show. Hell its the reason this board was created. Many times one fan will pick up on a subtlety that I missed and it’s fun to discuss these things.
What’s unusual is to be discussing the show with people who claim to hate the show. This isn’t the last Jedi where people who walked in essentially were locked in. People claim to have hated this show since the books ended so ~season 6. There’s been years go by to stop watching. Heck there’s been 4 episodes this season to give up yet here they are still cluttering up the thread trying to one up each other in how bad they hate this show and what particular detail was terrible. This is demonstrated when people are going so far as to complain about the physics of a projectile bolt. It’s a cycle of trying to one up each other.

Was that previous dragon killing by Projectile by Dorn during the Conquest, or dance of the dragons?
The Conquest was 300 years ago. Its logical that technology would have progressed since then. They haven't had these kind of ballista before, not even in the dance.

I know this wasnt directed towards me and I messed the "physics" argument, but Euron hitting a flying dragon on a moving ship on the first shot is pretty ridiculous. Thats not even counting how stupid it was for Dany to just plunge head first into them before turning.
I like this season overall, but that was horrible writing and it has turned him in to a terrible villain and its a very fair complaint.

Correct, the one I am aware of was in Dorne about 5-10 years after the conquest.

I know when Meraxes died it was during the Dornish War. Not sure on the time frame but it was shot down by a scorpion. I am sure it was a similiar type of weapon/crossbow that the show makes out Qyburn invented.

Book canon he was actually only killed because a lucky bolt hit him in the eye. But obviously the show dragons are weaker.
