Imagine being so upset about the details of ballista bolts that you couldn’t enjoy one of your favorite shows.

This is the sort of thing that’s ignored all the time.

While I can over look things like this, I can see why some can't.

Doesn't mean that people whom essentially say "everything is possible because dragons are not real either" don't seem silly.

I agree with your point but I think People who are upset need to kinda look at every action movie and fantasy movie and sorta realize: this shite happens everywhere

Most action movie hero’s should be dead. Killed by 1000 different bullets. Or if they are hit, bleeding to death.

I think we get more deaths this Sunday than we did at the battle of Winterfell

As I said. I can overlook most of these things. My issues are more character and story driven.

But to the action movie comment. That is a problem. People don't think Thrones should be an action movie.

Agreed.

But if you can’t suspend disbelief for this, you should probably have spent the last three seasons complaining about dragon riding in general.

I mean every one of those memes are horrible. There are more GOT memes than any other show in history and there have been like 5 total that are funny.

There’s a reason for that.

This series has gone out of its way to subvert things to hell and back.

Case in point - Khal Drogo.

Epic badass warrior, dies of complications from an infected flesh wound in the first book / season..

Case two - Ned Stark set up as the main protagonist, gets beheaded before the end of season one / book one.

Case three - Renly set up as a major contender in the War Of Five Kings, gets killed by a demon queef and his army dissipates between the Lannisters and Stannis.

Unexpected deaths are the norm. Unusual methods can be involved or just plain overkill could be involved.

But doing “one shot one kill” on a goddamn dragon flying through the air while you are on a wooden ship is pushing it.

Dont know if i would describe the death as complications from an infected flesh. More on the a witch puts some odd spell on him and purposely makes him a lifeless zombie.

He was dying of an infected flesh wound before the blood magic.

Then he was brought back as an empty shell which Dany killed with a pillow.

No matter how you slice it, an undignified and unexpected death for a badass warlord.
