When did it win?

He didn’t fight the Mountain for Tyrion.
He has served the Lannister’s from the jump because they paid him.

When has he made the honorable move when it didn’t benefit him?

People are rewriting this character so they can complain about him acting basically like he has all series

It’s just the way he carried himself in this episode. He went from someone who did for himself but was honest and straight forward about it amicably. Then he showed up worse than Chris Jericho

Its not just Bronn. Lots of the characters and situations have been getting more and more clunky. I'm starting to wonder if all those weeks of night shoots didn't do more harm than good by wearing everybody out both in front of and behind the camera. Of course that wouldn't really apply to Bronn's actor.

Ever since Tyrions escape/at least since his return from westeros Mr Valor has had EVERY opportunity to go back and help his friend yet who does he stick with? Cersei. As to the anger I think he explained it-hes been promised things over and over and over for a decade yet what does he have to show for it?

I will agree that the last “honorable” thing he did was saving Jaime trying to kill Dany. Regardless of who was paying him, he still rode in and saved him from certain death and risked his life more than relative to pay scale.

Whatever, a lot of the characters suck now. I just personally think Bronn took the worst dive out of all of them.

Right after which, he says nobody gets to kill Jamie until he’s paid

I just kept thinking that if this were real and he just walked out of the room, Jaime and Tyrion would get 50 guys to hunt him down and string him up.

And yeah, the whole thing was ridiculous. They seemed to be going for the kind of cold ruthlessness that made the show famous (e.g. the "knowledge is power" scene with Cersie and LF), but it was just blunt and clumsy, and looked like it had been shoehorned randomly into the episode because they couldn't figure out what to do with it.

Still, the melts have been sweet. But they do have a point. It's been kinda retarded. Part of me really does think that D&D are doing this to punish the most rabid, a-hole fans in artistic history. It's the only explanation for some of these choices.

He’s pissed because Tyrion’s run out on the bar tab 10 times

People expect him to hug the guy?

Will call our ballista physics for ten hours but won’t believe a guy will punch his buddy in the nose when his buddy welches in a fricking castle?

shite are they even buddies? Work friends at best

If you've been watching you can obviously tell that whole scene was very forced and not like Bronn. Yes he's always thought about himself and bettering himself but he's never done harm to his friends.

Just last season he snuck Tyrion into the dungeons to meet Jamie because Tyrion asked him.

There was already a massive price on his head. If it was all about money he would have turned him in.

Him maneuvering the whole situation to benefit him is not odd at all.

Him busting in a room and punching Tyrion in the face and firing bolts by Jamie's head while being extremely blunt and threatening is not like him at all.

Yes he's always been vulgar and disrespectful but he goes about it in a different way then he did in that one scene.

I see that everywhere but I just don't think he can do it in the span of two eps.

I wish they had condensed episodes 1-2 into ep 1 and then made episode 2 the BoW so that ep 3 and 4 could set up everything in KL. The attack on Dragonstone wouldn't feel so rushed/dumb, we could see some exposition on the North trying to consolidate it's troops and convincing the houses to march South, a scene of Jon/Sansa dealing with the Glovers, more logically set up Dany's slipping into rage, etc... I feel like that'd do well to space everything out and add the necessary exposition.

But, that said, onto ep 5. I think Dany and crew wreck shop in KL. But I Dany flies off the rails in doing so to the horror of the others including Jon, Tyrion etc.. Jamie tries to save/dissuade Cersei but is killed in the process(or maybe he kills her), Cleganebowl, idk what to expect out of Arya but I find it hard to imagine she kills both the NK and Cersei so maybe she kills Qyburn?

Yeah I think 1 was a fine almost “syllabus week” type episode.

Remind everyone who is who and what’s going on and set everything off for the big show down.

Episode 2 was trash. People kept saying “oh it’s our last moments with some of these characters” except it really wasn’t.

Melisandre wasn’t in the episode at all
Jorah was barely in the episode.
Dolores Edd was barely in the episode of at all
Theon was barely in the episode.

No one in the room when Brienne was knighted died

That’s his job. The darkness he is saving man from is Cersei/Dany

ETA: and I’m not saying that’s what the series has been alluding to
