So i know jamie killing cersei fulfills the prophecy but i think it’s also possible he may be going to kill dany. He was just told by sansa that a dragon was killed and missande is being held prisoner. Jamie remembers when the mad king got so pissed that he said burn them all. He may be thinking that is exactly what dany is about to do and he wants to stop her.

I can't get over Euron going 2/2 with the scorpion on flying Rhaegal, but they didn't shoot at a grounded Drogon at a closer distance. The manufactured drama is terrible.

The episode started off really good.
The teen high school hook up/love professing drama? Was garbage.

Why was sansa making that face when Dany gave StormsEnd to Gendry? I felt like she got mad like he didn’t deserve it

I just don’t see how it’s a given he’s going back to kill the woman he loves that also happens to be carrying his child.

+1
Thinking the same thing. Dany will get stabbed in the back by someone (jamie probably) while yelling burn them all.

A battle between what the show was and the rules/lore that was established (seasons 1-5) vs what the show has currently become for the sake of appealing to a wider audience and having budget constraints (6-8).
I cant put it more clearly than that.
Sure you can
It’s people who enjoy the show for what it is vs people who enjoyed the show for what it was. There are certain people who have read the books who enjoyed the show from day 1 for reasons other than the actual quality of what was onscreen. These are the people who now claim to hate it. It was never about the quality of production and writing, it was about what the show’s existence and following gave them. When that was lost, so to was their enjoyment.

When are we going to talk about Bronn’s scene?
And how we are all just supposed to forget that Cersei wanted to kill Tyrion so badly that when he’s 20 yards away, she does nothing.
And on top of all of that. If we are to believe that cercei’s logic is to piss of Dany to the point she attacks the city, why not kill Tyrion too???

his arc isn't complete if he doesn't kill Cersei

Dany will get killed by Jon baw. I haven’t read spoilers, but that’s a given

Last week people were bitching because the NK raised dead and had Jon surrounded. When they come back to Jon a couple scenes later he is handily defeating just 2 or 3 wights when there was dozens just moments earlier. That would've been a great opportunity to have ghost show up to save Jon. Ghost can die while buying Jon time. Then you give ghost a valiant end AND solve the plot hole of how Jon got out of that situation.
Sounds awfully fricking expensive.

It’s happening at the gate.
The people are there.
You’re fighting ghosts.

Outside of Plot powerups, I doubt the 2nd Sons 2000 men could make a difference (go back and watch that scene).
The show does have possibilities, but you're giving D&D way too much credit in the writing department.

The Jaime/Brienne writing was horrible. I guess the lords of HBO couldn't think of a better way to hook them up, or to handle Artya/Gendry. Neither had any style at all. The Bronn scene was poorly written as well. It felt like a surreal comic intermission.
This. They should be ashamed of themselves for those scenes but especially the Brienne/Jaime scene.
I took Jaime’s “we are both hateful” to mean he hates her and everything about her now. It will be a race to the finish to kill her between him and Arya.
CLEGANE BOWL engaged. I see the hound and Arya getting to the Throne Room inside the Red Keep together with only the Mountain standing in the way of Cersei. Hound does his things which allows Arya to do hers.

I’m flabbergasted we didn’t get to see Arya and Sansa’s Reaction to Jon’s news.
What kind of lazy, cop-out shite is this?

Have they ever talked about Oberyn's other daughters on the show? I can't remember but Dorne has to have the biggest army in the world now.
