On the bright side, I think the next episode will be really, really good.

I had not thought of testing the product in that way.

Are there spoilers out there for the finale? If so I am going to stay out of this thread?

That would be kind of pointless though, no?
as opposed to Tormund learning a new word for penis?

Apparently D&D had been fighting to get the bear for 4 seasons but were told it was too expensive.

Once testing is complete, I am making a shitload of armor for the dragons which hopefully Jon Snow recognizes his error of not outfitting his giant (RIP Wun Wun) in the BoTB with armor or a weapon.

Funny isn't pointless.

leaving the 2 smaller dragons for Jon and Dany, with Jon getting the larger of the two
Wait...did I miss something last night? Drogon was the largest dragon, correct? And Dany has only ridden Drogon up until this point, so if she was on Drogon then he got away safely and is still the biggest dragon.
I thought it was either Viseron or Rhaegon that the Night King took down. Although I'm thinking it was likely Viseron, which would leave Jon Snow riding Rhaegon...the dragon named for his real father.

it was Viserion was the one who took a dirt nap. Drogon is the largest because he was free-ranging for a while while Rhaegal and Viserion were chained up

I think the real cost isn't just the CGI, but coordinating the CGI with the acting and practical effects. There's just a lot of labor and planning involved in CGI that interacts with and is manipulated by the actors.

CGI takes hundreds/thousands of workers to produce

You think they will find the way to forge Valyrian steel again with all the dragon glass, or will they just make weapons with the glass? Sam grabbed books and scrolls from the Citadel before he left, and Gendry is a very skilled sword smith.

Regarding the questions about where all the dragonglass weapons were... as it's been pointed out, there were a number of daggers and Tormund's big blade (I honestly thought he was about to be beheaded with it, as they were pulling him down).
But let's all remember- it's obsidian (at least in physical properties), and that's a rock. Stone age tools. There's a reason man moved on to mining metals, it was because stuff like obsidian was too hard to shape, and required you carving it, not forging it. So a sword is extremely unlikely, and would just be shattered the first time it hits something.

Rhaegal, but the rest is correct and appropriate for Jon. Viserion was the one taken down. I believe the comment you saw was referencing a theory that Drogon would be the one that was killed, but obviously he was not.
Now they'll have to find some kinda way to kill the WW Viserion now. What likely makes the most sense is using Qyburn's cross bow with a dragon glass spear since no one in Westeros is able to naturally sling it like Uncle Rico Favre Elway aka Night King

I read the spoilers up to episode 6 (really wish I hadnt) but didnt read them for 7.
I could have swore it said Tormund died in a horrible way. So when he was about to get dragged down I thought that was it but obviously it wasnt.
Maybe i misread it and it said Thoros but idk how that could have happened.

Where did they get armor and everything else they have? I get the feeling they are more capable than we have assumed them to be.
But yeah, it felt like a bit of a reach.
How was it a reach? There were things that were a little far fetched this episode but this wasn't one of them. The Wildlings and giants had chains when they attacked Castle Black and the Wall. So it's not too crazy think that they got it from them. Plus it seems the NK has greenseer abilities and might have known some of this might occur. The NK is 8000 years old so I think he knows some shite.

I thought the fact that there just happened to be one dead guy left after Jon killed the White Walker was the most ridiculous plot hole or whatever you want to call it. How freaking convenient.
It was definitely convenient, but I don't think it's a plot hole or bad writing or anything like that. It actually furthered the plot by showing that killing a White Walker will also render lifeless the wights raised by said Walker.
That's kind of a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

There were a couple "spoiler" points that didn't happen as predicted in this episode. I won't say what they were.

Re-watching Hardhome.
The wights were much more formidable fighters back then.
