Those hounds weren't very intimidating anyway. Can those dogs get that mean?
blood hounds were known to maul slaves back in the day, great trackers more than anything else. Any large dog can be made mean.

If tower of Joy is his flashback my mind will explode.
That would be epic and the Whole Sparrow thing was a way to take down Kings Landing using 'faith' all the while he is a true follower of the old gods.

oh man
I actually never considered this possiblity as I always just assumed it would be Bran seeing it
but yeah, if they flashbacked with the High Sparrow to reveal his identity as Howland Reed, that would be awesome
and something the Hodors would go "meh, why is this important?"

In that scene with Cersei in the bowels of the sept last season he was talking about how people worshipped there long before Baelor built the fancy stuff upstairs. It seemed he was talking about people worshipping the seven, but perhaps he was actually referring to worship of the olds gods.

I think your first inclination was right. If I remember correctly didn't one of the trailers have either Bran or the 3 eyed crow set against a background that looks a heck of a lot like the TOJ desert landscape background?

maybe legit? don't know
This is good catch. This guy on reddit posted all this a year ago. He called it. I'm going to say he is 100% right.

he could be making a play for the throne himself
what if he's clearing the path for Jon? what if Daario is really Benjen? if HS is Reed, and Benjen is alive (Daario), they are the only two people (yes?)alive who know Jon's claim to the throne.
Daario (Benjen) could be thwarting Dany's attempts to get to Westeros with the Sons.
just posting whatever pops into my head.

Speaking of Melissandre, the actress gave an interview saying that the age of the character makes her "more wise and even more mysterious".
Didn't make her wise enough to refrain from burning a screaming child and thereby causing ton's of Stannis' army to mutiny/desert of course.
I think this is the part where she is lacking wisdom. If everything is happening as it is supposed to then the Lord of Light purposely sent her a false vision in order for Stannis' daughter to be killed, thus demoralizing the men and causing Stannis to be killed (my wife thinks he may still be alive since they uncharacteristically showed his death from 1st person and not 3rd so we can see undeniable visual proof).
Stannis' defeat forced her back to Castle Black, so she could be there to resurrect Jon Snow after he died. Unfortunately she's too caught up in her visions appearing to be wrong to see her path. They'll drag this out for a few episodes.

Do most here buy the theory that Jon is Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen's son?

I don't think anyone actually thinks its just a "theory" anymore
its pretty much regarded as fact

I know a lot of folks feel he's not dead because they didn't show it, but they confirmed his death last night during the interaction of Roose and Ramsay.
Roose asked Ramsay if he knew the man that delivered the killing blow. Clearly the Boltons found Stannis' body.

So about Melisandre being Sheira Seastar....Mel was a slave (Melony Lot 7), so unless Sheira Seastar was captured and sold off as a slave like Tyrion, I don't think Mel could be her.

Shiera Seastar would be around 125.
This is why i dont believe Mel is Shiera
in the comments after the show D&D said that Mel was hundreds of years old
so im thinking she's 400 years old or so
