He waited three years. I suppose, comparatively speaking, that's "pretty upfront" in terms of Hollywood circles.

If that's the kind of shite Joss does on his sets to people I have zero sympathy for his career going down the shitter. It's a BS way to treat people and an awful way to lead others. You don't have to be a terrible a-hole to others to get a show to work and it's not an excuse just b/c there are other terrible assholes who have gotten away with it.

And don't forget, Joss mocked a bunch of girls intimating they didn't make the cut for Trump's harem, for not being 10's.

They were young, in their mid teens. And all had survived cancer.

Stay classy, Joss.

Yeah, but Bound came out in '96

Not the Bound with Jennifer Tilly. Charisma's Bound is a 50 Shades ripoff from a few years ago with TO in it.

He's also been preety cryptic about what happened.

Ray Fisher "Joss Whedon was racist on the JL set."

Everyone else: "oh man. what did he do?"

Ray Fisher: "What do you mean what did he do? He was racist?"

Everyone: "Oh that's terrible. Can you be more specific?"

Ray Fisher: "How much more specific can I be? He was racist."

Warner Bros. Investigator: "Joss Whedon is kind of a dick, but he didn't do anything racist."

Ray Fisher: "Warner Bros. are Racist."

Good for him.
He has been very faux righteous the last 4-5 years.
Thanks for the 2 Avengers Movies, Joss. The Russo Brothers proved to be a LOT better for the franchise.
Peace brother. Getting cancelled aint as bad when you're a multimillionaire with shite tons of residuals coming your way.

Good because Joss Whedon is a lunatic. The woke mob will come for everyone one day.

Exactly. If Ray could point on the doll and show the court where Joss hurt him...

( Some think Ray is just exaggerating stuff because he didn't want to say ' Booyah! ', which is Cyborg's signature saying in the comics. One must assume 'booyah ' is racist too. )

As for the girls from Angel and Buffy, I've not seen anything other than he was mean and possibly called Charisma 'fat' while she was pregnant.

Was he kidding around ? Did she take it too seriously ? Maybe, maybe not. There is talk that he actually tried to get her to abort rather than be 'fat' for all those months and mess up the shooting schedule. They did actually write her character as pregnant, but I guess Joss didn't care for that too much.

Considering he wrote her off the show and how inexplicable it was for the show, he probably wasn't joking.

From the outside looking in, I’m guessing there is more than one version of that story. Who knows if she made promises and then went back on them? Who knows if she left the show to have her child and then was brought back at the very end? I’m not trying to defend joss one bit, but there are other versions which we’re just not getting.

The guy is probably a grade-A a-hole. I bet every fricker that was famous for 5 minutes in that show was/is too. When the personal assistants and make-up artists get their turns to tell how awful every actor/actress behaves on set, this count won’t be standing with them I’d bet.

That’s not what I’ve seen. I saw they fired her when they found out she was pregnant and didn’t tell them and that left everyone with a really bad taste
