Don't like hearing this, folks being dragged into situations which weren't their making, but when show runners and writers come out and side with Charisma, it does beg the question... where do you stand on the events of the past?
The image of the family atmosphere , dysfunctional as it may be, is collapsing unto itself now.

If someone you know on even just a professional level makes a mistake or is out of line you address it directly and discreetly in the moment. most people have a line on what is acceptable behavior and when that line is crossed and effects/endangers other people you tell the people who are responsible for that person or who can hold that person accountable. The social media mob is not the route an adult goes through to handle said issues.

And here is the worse side of these things: people complaining if you're not calling out the person being gang-piled (rightly or not).
If someone wants to lay-low and not get involved, they shouldn't be called out. That's their choice.
It's just another manifestation of cancel culture, which is ridiculous regardless of anyone's POV.
An example for me is Weinstein and Gretchen Mol. It was known for years what Weinstein was doing and discussed in blinds and on this board. Mol was very much a subject. After it all came down, she was silent for a while, but finally said it didn't happen. Is she complicit?
IMO, No. She just didn't want to get involved, protect herself, whatever. I don't see an issue with that.

You know, now that i think about it, there was an actual episode on Angel which eerily portrays this situation.
Cordelia ( Charisma's character ) is auditioning for a TV ad. She's forced to wear this skimpy bathing suit, and made by the director to feel like a piece of meat, nothing more. He mocks her body, tells her she's fat ( she was damn near perfect ), and treats her like a child. Then Angel shows up on set, sees her being mistreated, and about breaks the director in half, which then gets Cordelia fired form the job.

Many of the responses in this thread make me believe the real reason people here don’t like the me too movement is because they know they would likely be “cancelled” if their actions were ever made public.

You mean like bosses who seduce their secretaries, or movie directors, studio big wigs like Harvey Weinstein who are in charge of not just jobs but actual careers of women ( and men ? )
Yeah, there's that, obviously, but then again, being lied about ( Bret Kavanaugh , Morgan Freeman ) by bitter shrews with an ax to grind or political motivation is every bit a counter to your claim as well.
* To date, I've not heard of 1 criminal thing Joss has done beyond simply being a raging a-hole. And if that's the case, this simply needed to be addressed 20 years ago, when it could have made a difference.

Yeah, I mean, I feel like most people on here don’t have the same experience I do.... where you are actually required to not be a POS. Like I don’t see how anyone can find most of the weird BS stuff on this site acceptable at all.

So more people who happily made bank and enjoyed whatever notoriety they received, but years later want to dump on the guy that facilitated their success.
I’d have more sympathy, empathy, and respect for them and their tribulations if they’d have quit when the abuse was happening. frick em.
