If I see it, it'll be once it hits HBO Max. I can't with good conscience go see one of these nightmares in the theater.

Can't wait to get insulted by the actor and director after not going going to see this.

Looks like something set in the Guardians of the galaxy universe. I don't hate it and will eventually watch it on streaming.

My biggest issue is with the actress and her instantly attacking people before they even criticized anything. It's like she was mentored by Bree Larson.

Downvotes but no responses. Is it frowned upon to want to watch a movie for two hours then forget about it?

Unfortunately, yes. You will need to wait for a minimum of three YouTubers to give their approval before you’re allowed to want to see a movie.

Lobo looks great though.

i have never thought anybody is more accurately cast for a superhero role than Mamoa for Lobo ever.

I think there have been some great ones (Reynolds as DP, Boseman, Cavil, RDJ, etc.) but Mamoa is perfect for that.

you do know that James Gunn has taken over DC right?

i know that his sense of humor style can be an acquired taste but it's proven to be financially successful

Maybe it's just me, but that trailer (and the others too) did nothing for me in terms of wanting to see this movie. Maybe as I get older (46 now) I am phasing out of superhero movies? I don't think that's the reason at all, but who knows. But this movie just looks pretty awful to me, and not something I am interested in seeing in the least...not even once it hits streaming.

I didn't think the Superman movie from last year was overly good, but I at least enjoyed it. Love most of the marvel movies. Etc. Hell, I even remember liking the Supergirl from the 80s well enough. But this one just looks like a miss for me for whatever reason.

The supergirl actor has a very weird look about her. Kind of off-putting

This board is always fun. You could go to the House of Dragons season 1 thread where people were fawning over her and praised her acting.

Now she's off putting and hope she fails.

It just looks really generic to me. I hope I'm wrong and it ends up being a strong film

She’s said and done some shite since HOTD. I think it’s her personality/politics more than anything else.

Look at the shots of her face, she looks weird and her hair looks like shite.

She also wants to piss off the right kind of people so she will hit the FO phase of the program soon

I don't hope she fails but I mean.. Watch the trailer. Something looks off about her.

She's a very attractive girl IRL.

Jason Momoa just keeps cashing checks playing a derivative of the same character.

Good for him

So Superman has enough free time to give her a superhero outfit but not enough free time to help fight the guys who are going to destroy the universe? Maybe he scheduled vacation that week.

I thought this about the Superman movie but in reverse. She's just out getting drunk while her cousin is about to die saving the Earth?
