Pretty critical crowd here. I get it. But that trailer looked good to me. I know, the movie can bomb with a decent trailer, but I'm looking forward to watching it.

The movie has been rewritten 8 times so that trailer is a mishmash of different ideas and if you’ve seen the previous trailers you can tell how the movie has been pieced together. It’s going to be alot like The Flash, directionless bits of a story that makes no sense.

So we have gone from a story about a girl and her dog to an intergalactic level threat from a group of baddies. Looks like Guardians of the Galaxy 4.

Notice the trailer addresses the suit complaints from fans. Typical Gunn shite, hackneyed movie trying to backtrack and appeal to social media. No artistic vision, no story, no morale center. He’s desperate but it’s over, he was never going to fit DC.

Gunn can’t help but being Gunn . It’s inevitable. That’s why he was the absolute worst person to put in charge of all of this because he doesn’t believe it.
The guy has a limited range in which he exceeds. But beyond that he’s paint - by - numbers with a limited pallet.
Quirky, offbeat, found family, and a little disturbed is the only lens this guy sees through.

2 birds one stone. Subverts fans expectations AND immortalizes James Gunn into the fabric of the franchise at a level most won't get, because he's just that much smarter than everyone.

They have Reeves and a separate branch that is popular and makes money operating right now. It’s not like they have to start from scratch again, they can just let the Gunn side die off.
