re: Films/shows based in a city/state but are not filmed in said state

I hate continuity errors. For example, the characters are driving down St. Charles Ave., make a right turn and they’re on the lakefront.

Major League was filmed in Milwaukee.

There's a "Better Call Saul" episode named "Coushatta" that was NOT filmed in Coushatta.

It's fricking bullshite.

This happens all the time. The Client they are driving to NOLA from Memphis coming across the bridge from the Westbank.

When Harry Met Sally they are driving to New York from the University of Chicago which is on the south side but they are driving into Chicago on Lake Shore Drive from the north side

This is not new.

Mr Brooks had Oregon license plates was filmed in Shreveport.

Dark Places is set in Missouri but was filmed in Shreveport and Minden.

There was some chick flick that I believe had Costner in it that was supposed to take place on the outer banks. All of the ocean scenes had big rocks and cliffs like it was northern CA or New England. Having been to the Banks it was actually off putting because it was so wrong.
