This show was always weird, but I feel like it's gotten gross. The body horror stuff is something I could totally do without. The drug muling in episode 1, the body wrapping, and Nate throwing up and getting mobbed in 3 was a little much.
It feels more like American Horror Story now.

The reception was classic Euphoria. The first dance was hilarious. Sydney's facial expressions and her comedic/tragic whining during the reception and beatdown scenes were great.
It's cool they were able to get Eric Dane in numerous scenes in Season 3 even though it's clear that he was already in rapid decline at the time.
I feel like Alanna Ubach (Cassie's mom) is underrated. A small role but she holds her own in a show full of craziness. She's hilarious in Ted.

I remember her from Always Sunny as Roxy, the dirty whore that Frank proposes to. She’s a great character actor.

What a freaking great episode. Wow.
The cowboys and indians scene was something that felt like it was straight out of a Tarantino movie. That was a killer scene.
Then once Nate and Cassie got home it was something out of a Coen brothers movie. Great drama but also comedic at the same time. Sidney Sweeney is a actually a really good actress.
Season is getting really good.

You can't be serious. This is the episode that goes too far for you?
If weird sex stuff and a guy throwing up and getting robbed is too much then you're probably watching the wrong show.

Just in the first few episodes they've had
- close up of girls gagging, swallowing with KY jelly, farting, then shitting out balloons of drugs into a colander.
- Close up of a girl ODing, foaming at the mouth, and dying
- close up of a mobster cutting off one of Nate's toes and his bloody nub shooting blood everywhere
I mean Jesus I get the show has always been a little depraved, but is all the gross-out stuff necessary?

So on a show that for it's entirety has focused on drug use and a season that is clearly focusing on it even more it surprises you that they are.... showing more drug use.

It's a crime show on HBO. They have shows where guys get their heads blown off. Nate getting beat up and a toe cut off wasn't that bad. I'm not a guy that is into gory stuff for sure but it was just showing that these dudes are obviously not playing around and the stakes this season is much higher.
The tranny dressing in the most ridiculous and revealing outfits possible is what I could do without.

The actress that played sister Gia has said she's not coming back, and Rue said Gia is going to school in Arizona. In the wedding episode, I think Rue also said in narration that Gia won't return her calls. Sounds like the character has been written out.
We got a phone call from Fez in prison, so the character lives on, but I suspect references to him will dwindle. Somebody let Fez know not to talk about his escape plan on the prison phone lines; they are recorded.

My girl liked the first two seasons so I have had to sit through the first few episodes. We have punted. The show is dog shite

as someone who never watched the first two seasons, I’m digging this third season. Sydney Sweeney had me laughing my arse off in that final scene. And the Mexican stand off scene with the bird Highly entertaining show. The first two seasons are more depressing than funny though?
