Working in the film industry, I get weekly messages on linked in from concerned idiots telling me I need to list my pronouns in support of the trans community. There have been many times I though about listing 'it,' but ultimately I want my business to continue, so I just continue not giving a frick about these messages.

I just don't understand how everyone doesn't see this for what it is, a mental disorder. Assume i'm a celebrity, if i decided one day, i'm the King of France. And made a press release, and demanded i be treated as the King of France is treated, would you do it? Would you refer to me as your heinous? No, you'd plead that i seek mental help, and that i must be suffering through some sort of nervous breakdown, or i just want attention. That is all this is.

So now that Ellen Page doesn’t exist anymore and it would be dead naming to refer to Mr. Page as such, would it be cool for someone to order an Ellen Page sex doll? Probably a good decision. I was just a bit baffled by the complexity of it all. I realize this is a sensitive issue for some people, but it’s one that I find more difficult to empathize with than most. My own lack of ever even thinking about pronouns makes it tough.

She will certainly get those residual checks from those movies. Now whether SAG forces those companies to change the credits to Elliot Page will be another issue.
