They have this teed up for a major Dutton Ranch/Y:Marshalls crossover. Right now Tate and Carter have been kidnapped and both are in Texas. Kaycee is a US Marshall and has jurisdiction anywhere in the US and I could see an opportunity for a Kaycee/Rip/Beth team up to save the boys and clean out the cartel

I thought that as soon as they said in Marshalls that Tate was flying to Texas. But I kind of hope they keep the two shows separate, but I definitely wouldn't put it past them to do it for sure.

I mean was that not his brothers car racing away from the house after the shooting?

I don’t want to look for fear of spoilers. How did they hang the bull back up there with the horns looking like nothing ever happened?

My rational side thinks why not just call the DEA?

It was a great episode though.

I will say that they fact Beth just didn't text Carter instead of only trying to call was pretty ridiculous. She knew he had his phone on and was charging it. Did she not think that he might read a text message?

And then when she finally got him on the phone her first words were NOT "the Mexican drug cartel are on their way to kill them all"? I mean she really should've had that phone call planned out a little better considering how long she had been trying to call him.

Good Article On Finale

SOME SPOILER COMMENTS!

That was a satisfying season ending. Kind of felt bad for "Rob-Will" at the end, having just bonded finally with Oreana.

Joaquin’s a little bitch and needs to get one between the eyes.

They had Carter angry with Beth and Rip for 5 episodes and no resolution this season. I don’t see why it had to drag on that long. I understand to a point of why Carter’s angry. Not to the level of completely ignoring calls and hanging up especially when Oreana tells him that.

PLEASE, not cross over with The Marshall. Love Luke Grimes as Kayce, and Mo and Rainwater, love the western theme, i.e. horses and rustic Montana scenery. The acting by the rest of the cast is awful!! That cringe cast ruined it for me.

While Paramount+ officially renewed Dutton Ranch for a second season on June 24, 2026, an official release date has not yet been announced. Production is expected to begin soon, with industry speculation pointing to a late 2027 premiere.

I'm going to have a hard time waiting until then.

How’d they find Carter so fast Lol?} I think the sheriff told them where to look. Great episode. This is the episode, we’ve been waiting on.

I actually think it was Oreana’s bodyguard who’d been there w her before and they did make a point of showing him being around…

A little behind, but just watched the episode where rip and Beth rode horses to the next ranch. How long did that take and how many gates did they have to get down and open?

Was Beth looking for Carter and showing photos of him at the same bar that Mariana was at at the same time.

Maybe that tipped them off. Otherwise what was the purpose of Beth going to look for him instead of defending the ranch. Otherwise I don’t see how that cut advances the plot.

When Beth ask the sheriff to "ping" his phone because it was still on was how they got to Carter. The Sheriff has to be working with the cartel and tip them off that way

As soon as saw that coke, I would have called the feds. Having a fire fight using lever action rifles against a cartel seems absurd.

Oreana is so annoying. Constant bitch face.
Ed Harris is a great anchor for the show.
Carter is dumb as a hammer, but maybe not as dumb as Rob-Will.
Great seeing Rip beat the shite out of people again.
Not so sure about the body dumping hole. That seems easy to figure out.
I wonder if some version of Kayce shows up in Season 2 with some ex-Seals to deal with the cartel.

Probably not that long. And the Dutton Ranch has no cattle. NO need for closed gates.

You think Oreana wants to marry Carter and raise the baby?

Hoping for a Marshalls-Dutton Ranch crossover next season. It’s perfectly set up.

It HAS to happen.

So glad Joaquim killed that worthless piece of shite Rob-Will. It was so satisfying. #TeamJoaquim

I don't think she knows what she wants from one minute to the next. She's already drinking beer, so there's not a lot of regard for the baby, although she did refuse a refill when offered.

But her and Carter getting together would set up the next generation of a ranch dynasty.

Main gripe about episode was it tied up no plot lines at all.

Flex Seal Baw
9 was the best of the series but meat processing plant only works if you’re not up to usda regs which most probably aren’t.

Tommy and crew will ride in to save the day, arriving just ahead of Kayce. Merge all three shows and be done with it

Only if it's Kayce, and maybe Miles. The rest of the "team" is insufferable. Cal and his massive collection of heavy-handed military jargon, clunky motivational buzzwords, and repetitive corny nicknames makes it almost unwatchable. It seems juvenile and like they're trying too hard to make the characters seem tough.
