He looks like a bobble head when he’s talking to someone.

Probably not that long. And the Dutton Ranch has no cattle. NO need for closed gates.

Even with no closed gates maybe on one ranch, it’s not like you’re just popping over next door on horseback for a party. Rip’s ranch is supposed to be about 7,000 acres and 10 petal is supposed to be about 75,000. Would probably take awhile to ride over there on a horse.

It’s so distracting and annoying when he’s on screen. I’ve thought the same exact thing.

Great seeing Rip beat the shite out of people again.

He has one hell of a pair of sunglasses. I don’t think those things moved during the fight.

I’m hoping the plane goes down and lands on the vehicle with Carter in it.

No. I figured Jimmy might pop in for a cameo but nobody else from Yellowstone made it. Hope they work in Kacey honestly for Season 2.

can someone rank this on how you liked it compared to 1923, 1883, and Yellowstone?

Good Article

Yellowstone is obviously the standard. But I really like the Dutton Ranch except for a couple of the plot lines. Too much Carter. Ed Harris is a national treasure and probably one of the best parts of the show.

Better than Yellowstone & 1883. I don’t think I ever finished 1923.

Dutton Ranch is way better than 1883 and 1923

And maybe the last 2 seasons of Yellowstone

Its not close to the first few seasons of Yellowstone or Landman

But I still enjoy the continuation of Beth & Rip and hopefully we’ll have Kayce involved next season

1883
Landman
Early Yellowstone
Dutton Ranch
1923 (great show but didn’t like where they cut it off and dragged season 2)
Last few seasons of Yellowstone

Dutton is obviously just getting going but it’s building really well

Dutton Ranch isn’t ‘better’ than Yellowstone S1–3. That's the standard for the series.

Rip was obviously one of the key characters in Yellowstone, and Dutton Ranch extends his "journey" trying to find a similar lifestyle to Montana best he can after fire. As noted, it's limitations are some of the extended story lines (like Carter's). But there's some serious acting going on in that show and having Ed Harris in it was a major coup.
