Depends. If it’s $5 Tuesdays then no. If it’s standard pricing of $15-$18 then I don’t even buy one seat.
What about you? It’s always fun to watch people start “Do you” threads yet not even answer their own question.

If I go to movies by myself, sometimes I will just not to be bothered if that makes sense.

No need to do so at Ipics. Two person booths. And it’s the only place I catch a movie.

I haven’t had to, but I do refuse to sit right next to a stranger at a movie. I just make sure to go to showings that aren’t overcrowded. It helps to avoid theaters with limited seats due to having recliners instead of theater seats or captain’s chairs. In BR I like the AMC next to the mall.

Of course not. I’m not a millionaire.

I buy the seat in the handicapped row.

I've never thought of doing that because it's a rare time I'm watching a movie in a packed theater--intentionally so. The few times a stranger has sat next to me, though, it hasn't been any issue. And sometimes it's even been

No. I hope that other people are like me and won’t buy the first or second seat on the side of me

When I book two tickets I don't book the pairs like they are in the app, I book the left from one pair and the right from the other and 100% of the time nobody has booked the single seats in the pairs. Nobody wants to sit next to a single weirdo so we have 4 seats to work with.

At the Dolby theater they’re all in 2 seat configurations. Nobody will sit in the one “connected” to yours
The one next to you in the other dual seat is far enough away that it doesn’t matter

I have, I've bought 2 once to not be next to anyone when I knew it would be packed.

No, but I always wait a few weeks so the theater isn't crowded.
