Gore is a card carrying insider. He’s part of the access Hollywood community and has worked in Hollywood for a long time prior to his podcast career.

yeah definitely seems unbiased.

One of the most popular things at their parks is the Star Wars stuff. You have people running to the rides and its a 45 minute + (usually over an hour) wait to get on the big ones. They also have plans to expand it I believe.

Don't think they would be selling the IP given all that.

I also don't know why a company would buy it at the value it would take to get it. The brand is irreparably damaged, IMO. And IP like this usually has an expiration date unless you can keep creating good stuff to buy it more time..... which I don't believe it has.

This rumor started about a year ago and if Gore is hearing this from people he knows it’s probably just mid management talk by people who don’t make these kinds of decisions.

Film Threat is a movie review website which HAS a YouTube channel. FT has been in existence since long before YouTube even was.

you can't truly be done with star wars unless you talk about it every day and subscribe to the rumor mill like you're a high school girl

I bet these people can't wait to not watch Andor and hate watch the next trilogy

So they're admitting they're not willing to make non-woke Star Wars films after fans rebelled?

Let it die. Elon's already saving us billions, free speech and working on making humans transplanetary. He's got enough.

So, Disney puts out that Kathleen Kennedy is retiring

KK fires back that she isnt retiring, only looking for a successor

So now Disney is saying "eff all that, sell dis bish"

Is that about it?

Speaks to the apathy. They wouldn’t need to create these phony headlines if their product wasn’t such garbage.
