Rat Race taught me that if you have a transplant heart and accidentally knock it out of it's ice chest you can keep it beating by grabbing hold of an electric fence.

I’m keeping with your theme - “Never drive faster than you can see, and besides that, it’s all in the reflexes”.

Both mean, give your best effort or don’t do it at all. Half assed ain’t ok.

I mean like if you learned love, acceptance and hope from watching ET. They're good lessons, but it's still a wadded up piece of chewing gum with a long neck you're getting all worked up about. Y'know?

Sometimes you just got to say, “What the frick”

Risky Business which was not an absurd movie. This quote was our mantra through our college days.

Everybody be cool. Everybody just... be cool. Because, remember... no matter where you go... there you are.

When I first watched this movie as a kid I thought this line was hilarious because he said it like it was some profound piece of wisdom, and yet it was so ridiculously obvious. Of fricking course you are wherever you go! It took me getting older and having the reality of it hit home to realize that it is in fact a profound piece of wisdom hidden inside something that sounds patently ridiculous.

Watched that movie a couple years ago for first time as an adult and something stood out so much it changed the entire movie for me.
That boy went down on a MFin prostitute. That's the epitome of "What the frick".

Life's a piece of shite
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughin' as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you

Randall’s speech at the end of Clerks. Basically going off on how he & Dante look down on the customers as low life’s despite both of their personal lives being no better than the people they despise. It’s a great moment that shows you that putting down others is not a good way to mask your own shortcomings in life.
