Dear God the Audience Comments section of Rotten Tomatoes for Black Panther
is like swimming through raw sewage.

It's a snapshot of what happens when technology gives everyone a voice.

I was going to post some highlights, but I don't want to get banned.

LINK

To be clear, the comments both condemning it and supporting it are dripping with idiocy.

I really hope that’s like two people sitting in a room somewhere just trying to troll as many people as possible.

Black Panther is the true story of the African people, and their struggle against white cis gendered patriarchy, laid low and destroyed by white power structures! Way better than the Last Jedi or 12 years a slave! Yeah, I said it, das rite!

God damn who knew that the "true story of African people" started as some scribbles on a page by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

The official book of black history month is now Fantastic Four #52-53

ETA Black Panther beat up all the white people too....I'll bet Thanos smacks his arse down though.....which is probably OK because he is an illegal alien.

This is how life could have been if the white man didn't take our brothers and sisters from mother Africa. I hope this masterpiece of cinema inspires my black brothers and sisters to leave evil white countries and resettle Africa into the utopia it could have been. WE WAS KANGZZZ.

somehow i don't think this was a genuine comment

Propably best movie i ever seen. Amazing action. terrific actors and beautiful message. Also show superior power of Africa and idea of ethnostate for africans. Today Wakanda may not be real. But if africans and american africans come together, they can build greatest nation ever. If USA don't appreciate black people under Trump fashist dictatorship, then they should make new better nation. Anyway. It is revolitionary movie. Movie like this is made once in century. 8/8

oh man. we can make a great thought experiment with these comments: is this a serious post?

i think the above is a much more subtle troll (the 8/8 gives it away, imho)

It's a shame too, because I'm confident that the movie is actually really good.

Pretty sure this one is legit though:

Been wain fo dis movie fo a minute. Dis white dude paid fo my tix but wanted to watch his wife give me dem. I took dem and wen in n watsh da movie but dint had no popkorn $ or $ fo a sprite even :(

Anyways, it's great to imagine what Israel would look like if it was black and instead of exploiting the American people they exploited some crazy crystals in the ground instead.

Fess up Fox. This was you wasn't it?
