i love that the one "rotten" review came from a writer for the Irish Independent. He clearly isn't concerned about blowback in ireland.

Propably best movie i ever seen. Amazing action. terrific actors and beautiful message. Also show superior power of Africa and idea of ethnostate for africans. Today Wakanda may not be real. But if africans and american africans come together, they can build greatest nation ever. If USA don't appreciate black people under Trump fashist dictatorship, then they should make new better nation. Anyway. It is revolitionary movie. Movie like this is made once in century.

I felt the same way after seeing Thor.

think the above is a much more subtle troll (the 8/8 gives it away, imho)

I think a lot of these are trolls. But then again, people really are this stupid. Hard to tell when it comes to liberals.

Trolls don't work unless they resemble reality, otherwise they are satire like the Onion

well this wasn't predictable at all

It's a shame too, because I'm confident that the movie is actually really good.

Hey I am too. I’m still definitely going to see it in the theater .

There's reason to hope for this. Good actors and director. If they tell a good story then we have a great example of a movie that crosses political divides and just entertains.

But we are in the throws of an age of identity politics.

When people talk about their membership in a demographic group as if it were a determining aspect of their individual characteristics they predictably begin to discriminate against people outside of that demographic group. You can see it in something as trivial as the football jerseys worn by strangers who never met before or in something as important as core political beliefs that affect methods of governance.

I wonder how many of those comments are real and how many are just trolls.
