It's been so long since we've had a Fincher-directed movie...Gone Girl I think. The guy is in my top 3 list for favorite directors so that has felt like an eternity.
EDIT: shite, nevermind. Forgot he directed Mank. I never did see that one so I'll have to check it out also.

I don't believe this film had anything to do with Mindhunter not moving forward. Maybe Mank did because it was DF's passion project and he wanted to focus on getting that made.
I know Fincher has claimed that the show was too expensive to make and that was the real cause.

First time seeing The Counselor I thought WTF was that but something about it had me curious and on rewatch I caught on to what it was really about and I enjoyed it. I watch it anytime it’s on now.
