Anyone else notice the X-MEN easter egg at the end with Dr. Oyama (Deathstrike's father) performing the surgery on Bullseye's spine?
I did, only because I read up on Bullseye before the season started, but that will be real interesting next year

does the rest of this season suck as bad as the first three episodes? are the next ten similar to the first three in that matt murdock just constantly acts like a pussy and feels sorry for himself? already getting tired of the show and i'm only 3 deep.

It picks up in the 4th episode. It has the maybe the best scene in the series so far.

Easily the best marvel tv show season.
To the send Dex after Fisk comment, I think Matt knows he can't get up to the penthouse without a distraction and "help."

There's no way they got that scene all in one take.

The article posted on the previous page says they did. Though they did swap in Charlie Cox's stunt double a few times.

My GF got mad at me during the Bullseye childhood story for pointing out that Easton didn't use that logo during the time Dex would have been growing up.

Outside of Jessica Jones and the first half of Luke Cage S1, the Marvel Netflix series were leaving me cold and less and less interested. This was a return to form, and maybe the best thing they've done outside Jones S1.
First, all of the characters make sense and have actual arcs. I was irritated by how the story kept the three leads apart, but in the end, it worked, because when Karne, Foggy, and Matt finally team up at the end, I was super excited. I missed their interplay, but more importantly... THEY missed it. Foggy made an in-character comment about it, and it felt earned. They had to learn that they are stronger together by actually being apart.
Foggy is still the secret MVP of the series, and his relationship with Marcy is f'n awesome. Introduced as a wet blanket, she's become an interesting character in her own right, whose love of Foggy inspires him to be an even better person (while still grounding him, "Of course, you'll lose.") Karen still recklessly endangers every human being she meets and never gets called out on it, but she does show stones by telling Kingpin she murdered Wesley. It catches him genuinely off guard, even if her plan would have resulted in her getting beaten to death had not Foggy saved the day.
But the villains! Bullseye was great! His powers made sense as did his sociopathy and his attempt to be better. The murder of Julie was genuinely shocking, and left him unmoored. Fisk is damned near omniscient which shouldn't work as a character, but it makes him a great looming villain. And there are stakes, like when he gives Vanessa the omelette. He becomes a kid again, desperate for approval.
Even the side characters stepped up. Nadeem started as a bucket of damp rags, and slowly became a fascinating study in slowly losing control. And the parallels to his death and Matt's dad are obvious, so we'll skip it. The police detective gets a well-deserved win, and DA Towers is set up as a foil, but not a monster. We'll miss the priest, who has been the guiding light of Matt's conscience, but Sister Mary now steps up. Everyone's motivations made honest to God sense! People came into conflict even though they had similar goals! There were moral grays! Even Foggy!
And holy crap, the fight scenes. They have to be the best on TV. The jailbreak was astounding, but the first Bullseye-Daredevil fight was terrific, especially because it was staged in a way as you could see the two figuring out the other's weaknesses. Matt tried to bring the fight to close quarters so he could brawl, while Dax showed off his improvisational skills.
And bonus, they didn't turn Karen into a heroin-addicted prostitute like the comic storyline this is based on. Good adaptation decisions!

She was an addict though until it cost her the life of her brother.

I think you might be the most negative poster on these boards
Yes the first 3 eps were on the slow side, but they were necessary to establish Matt's emotional and psychological state and setup the rest of the season. Ep4 takes off and the season is phenomenal ever after.
Go take a happy pill and finish it

I hate Foggy because he's a weak cuck that refuses to do the dirty work of what's needed to be done and that's put put down and kill the monster that's Wilson Fisk and he infected Matt with his thinking when Matt better understood Fisk.
This is a full blown violent war of epic proportions that Fisk is waging against them and Foggy's answer is to get the compromised government that Fisk has people in to file a lawsuit to put him back in prison. And that approach cost several more innocent people their lives including Nadeem when they went for the state grand jury play.
Just stupid.
This season may have been truly amazing to watch but Nadeem's dying declaration was just lazy writing that bailed out Foggy and Matt from making a truly and agonizingly difficult decision that determined whether or not Fisk was going to crush them.

I loved the season, but that final conflict where they are actively trying to prevent bullseye from killing Fisk drove me crazy. There is no reason to believe that Fisk can’t still have them killed. When he has Karen killed, it will be directly Matt’s and Foggy’s fault.

He doesn't.
Only Bullseye wears the suit in this series.

Don't hold your breath waiting for another season. Netflix is trying to get out of the Marvel business completely.

They may want to, but I think they have a huge perception problem. A lot of people think the Disney deal ending means Netflix might lose the Defenders based shows too. They need to release some new seasons after they've lost all of their Disney content just so people know they still have it.

They are using social media to determine which shows to keep. Apparently not enough people were tweeting about Iron Fist and Luke Cage, that's why those shows were cancelled. Daredevil and Jessica Jones will be next.

Daredevil had a lot more support than Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Jessica Jones had more support too but I suspect that terrible season 2 will make season 3 DOA no matter how good it is.

Wat?
They have the actual viewership numbers. Im pretty sure they're not ignoring those and instead using tweets as a measuring stick.
