The funny thing about her on Scrubs is that they make fun of her plastic surgery in the show, even though her husband is the show runner / creator.

Not always. Just on the really bad ones that you notice and remember. I’m pretty sure a lot of people in Hollywood have work done and you don’t even know it, because it’s done well. She probably thought hers would be one of those.
