BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM is more balls to the wall than you can imagine. Though this time there is an urgency behind all the chaos.

BORAT 2 is fascinating mostly in how it conclusively essays how Borat is now a more moral and upright figure than Rudy Giuliani

Here's my review of BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM, which should end Rudy Giuliani's career!

I always wonder how much of these movies are staged, especially now that everyone knows who he is by now. For instance, the whole crashing Pence's speech thing... was that real? Either way looks hilarious.

Its not like Trump rallies aren't perfect spots for Borat to let hilarity ensue

he’s having to force it/fake it now, though

i don’t blame him, it’s the way Hollywood works there days. I mean those review blurbs are gag inducing. Might as well make Borat an SNL skit

ETA: I really liked/enjoyed the first one

I predict this film will be just as irrelevant as the first one.

If you didn't like it because of your own political stance, then fine. To say the first one was irrelevant either means you exist in a bubble, or you're just making stuff up to insult it.

The first one was a cultural phenomenon that had people of all ages, sexes, and races talking about it.

Once upon a time, Sacha was hitting everyone with relevant comedy. Just because he has crafted a targeted hit piece this time does not cause his previous work to be "irrelevant."

I loved his tv series and previous films. This one is a hard pass for me, because it appears to be a targeted political hit piece rather than the wide swath of all cultures his previous works were

Rudy Giuliani scene sounds beyond cringeworthy. Not sure I can post the screencaps of it (he is sticking his hands down his pants in a hotel room in front of a “reporter”)

and then the horse falls

Funniest scene of the 2000s

Yeah I figured he could never make Part II unless he was just paying people to be duped or ridiculed on camera...

Or he made fun of the fact that he is now famous and just edits out the parts where people on camera acknowledge they're being put on and part of a movie.

Otherwise, he'd have to go to the backwaters of this country and pull his tricks in the sticks.

Hated it and couldn't make it through it. Reminded me of the Jerky Boys.
