We also need one for Van Alden and all of his one liners.

Well that made me sad. I will say I'm glad Chalky went out the way he did.

Two heavy haymakers to the gut with the deaths in this one - it finally felt like the series is almost over. Going to miss this show something awful.

What an incredible episode.

RIP Chalky White.

Michael K Williams is a hell of an actor.

He played chalky the same way he did Omar. Very good, but limited range

Great episode. I guess Van Alden had to die in the end. No other way for that character to go out. Loved how he went out in a rage, choking out freaking Al Capone. No better way to end it for Nelson.

Chucky's death bothers me. I think he was stupid to give his life for the woman who ran out on him. Noble? Was what he did to his own family noble? He should have spent his days fixing his own wrecked house. I guess if you look at it from the perspective that the little girl was his daughter (I don't know, was that heavily implied?) then, yeah, he went out like a boss.

Nucky going on his bender, while it had some funny scenes, made no sense to me. What was the point of it? I did like the flashbacks though.

Another great episode. Another night of questioning why this great series has to end.

That ties into the whole overall premise of this series. There are no "good people" in this show. Some are better or more noble than others, but they're all evil in some form or fashion.

The reason that I personally felt worse for Harrow's death was that Chalky was acceptant of the fact that it was done. Harrow was just looking forward to a newer, potentially better chapter of his life when it ended.

I didn't get this either. Especially with all of the other important storylines wrapping up around it.

I'm curious how Nucky will react to Chalky's death.

Letting his guard down like that wasn't a typical Nucky move. The only thing I can guess is that it was to show that he's hit rock bottom. Nothing is really going right for him, culminating with that shite show, so he's now deciding that this may be it for him and he's going go out in a blaze of glory.

Finally got around to watching this episode last night. I'm disappointed. I realize they have to wrap up the show but Chalky needed a better send off. Van Alden went out in an appropriate manner.

I don't see any reason why he would. The man obviously has no honor.

Couple of comments..

First of all, how is this show not more popular, or perhaps it has decreased in popularity.

Also, what happens with the chicks and nucky, were they planted or acting on their own just to rip him off.

I'm glad that he finally got say his piece and not hide in the shadows of what he really is. Van Alden really was a hell of a character in the grand scheme of things.

I think we're in for interesting finish to the flashbacks. A change in power is on the horizon. I think the hurricane will have something to do with that.

I guess all thats left if to show how Nucky finishes up. They've pretty much finished all other story lines.
