the scalping scene was legit, especially considering what led up to it. that was awesome

Excellent episode. I really think this show stepped it up from a very good first season to a (thus far) superb second season.

How can yall say this was a slow episode????? It was one of the best IMO. The nucky and Eli scene was fricking awesome, I thought they were gonna have a few words and hug it out, nucky wasnt about to let that happen... Eli's outta control at this point

I was cringing when Richard almost offed himself.... That would've sucked.

The scalping scene was epic

Apparently if a show doesn't involve killing zombies non stop for an hour, it is now deemed slow. Hope this helps.

I guess so.... I agree some episodes aren't quite as exiting as others but this one was great Imo.

+1

I'm not sure how you can call this episode slow.

Nucky's and Eli Fight
Eli bashing the dudes scull in
Harrow almost offing himself
Jimmy and Harrow scalping a guy.

On topic:

I don't feel good about this deal with the attorney general. It seems like it is too easy of an out.

I don't know. They seem to hint that it might not work as planned. Nucky asked AG for a guarantee and he didn't get one.

Agreed. Plus it's Shooter McGavin. You can't trust him.

As someone said before I liked the scenes with Harrow and the dog. "What's he fighting for?" "You're going to have to ask him." I think now he feels like he has a purpose so to speak and got reaffirmed by Jimmy that he does care for him.

Eli is screwed royally. He's got too much going on and has no clue how to control it. He realized that he needs a Nucky or a Jimmy to clean up his mess and now has neither.

I think so. They defiantly ratcheted it up a notch. I liked how they have the Richard life re-affirming woodsy stuff to balance off all the carnage.

No Chaulky or no crazy FBI agent this episode. Althought previews look to show Agent Whacko back in full force next episode.

The people complaining about this episode being slow are the same who won't read a post that is more than two sentences long and uses polysyllabic words.

I'm a little naive when it comes to scalpings as I have no experience with them, but does that kill you or just mess you up beyond repair?

Solid episode, imo.

You're going to bleed to death unless you get medical help. Richard didn't seem to be too careful either so he might have sliced off the top part of his brain.
