What are some of your favorites?
The Imperial March, Portals (from Avengers: Endgame), and Indiana Jones (Main Theme) are right up there for me. Any others (especially obscure ones from lesser known films)?

I'll add in the main themes from ET and Jurassic Park.
This may be cheesy, but I've always thought the Top Gun Anthem at the beginning of the movie with it playing over the clips of the various moving pieces on the flight deck is really cool.

Well the most indelible is probably the five notes from Close Encounters.

Harry Potter & LOTR are the first that come to my mind.

Gettysburg. Love the opening credits. Also part of that movie is the score that is played during Chamberlain's charge and again for Pickett's charge.

Braveheart seems pretty obvious. I don't think it was very popular when it came out but Lost River that Ryan Gosling directed had a prefect score for the eerie theme of that movie

Jurassic Park is far left.
Last of the Mohicans is close second.

Yes, yes it is. And in the new trailers when the gong goes off, and then the song builds... well... that's pure awesome.

Last of the Mohicans is always the correct answer. There are many great ones, but this is king of the hill.

LOTR (pretty much all of it, but the tops are: The Hornburg - Two Towers; Fields of Pelennor - ROTK)

The Right Stuff
Edit: On movies that had not been mentioned. Last of the Mohicans is the first movie I thought of.
Ramin Djawadi is the new John Williams on body of work
