Last of the Mohicans is always the correct answer. There are many great ones, but this is king of the hill.
Came to post this one too. It was first one to come immediately to mind.

Overall score for a film? Last of the Mohicans
Best overall piece? Carl Orloff's O Fortuna in the myriad of movies it's been in. My favorite is from Excalibur.

Various songs from the Godzilla series' catalog.
Godzilla's March
Ghidorah's Terror
A medley of various songs.
Akira Ifukube wrote some great pieces for those movies.
If we would include songs with singing, Who Will Know from the "Shin Godzilla" soundtrack has always struck me as powerful, with the voice being from Godzilla's prospective.

Batman Trilogy
First thing that came to my mind was the scene between Joker and Batman on the street with the big rig and the batpod. It was the first time in my life where I was cognizant that the music was adding to the tension I was feeling.

Anthony Gonzalez was the best part of Oblivion. Excellent score

I thought when Charlie Conway scored on the Triple Deke to beat the Hawks and get the Ducks the state championship was pretty awesome

People try way too hard in these kinds of threads - I honestly don’t even remember any music from Oblivion

Best: Out of Africa
Most "powerful": Star Wars Imperial March

LOTR
Last of the Mohicans
Jurassic Park
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
all have iconic instrumentals
Some of my recent favorites are Light of the Seven from GOT and Interstellar
I feel like Star Wars and Indiana Jones are classics and instantly recognizable, but I don't really like listening to them when I'm working/studying like some of the others. Maybe they're too jarring?

I don’t think any score ever changed the way people view something like Jaws did.
