Not thrilled about either of these but I guess I’ll go Halloween simply because it basically created an entire sub genre of horror. Exorcist did too but I just find Halloween to be the better movie of the two (and “scarier” too I guess).

My favorite part of Halloween is the scene where Linda walks to the laundry room and then walks to Laurie’s house and then walks back to her house to pad out 10 minutes of runtime
