I don’t think it was even the ALCS. I think it was just a one game tiebreaker in the division, which was probably done that way for dramatic effect. One huge do-or-die game to slay the dragon once instead of glossing through a series in which Haywood hits more bombs off Vaughn until Game 7.

Rocky (1) because that was literature - lost a split decision, but went the distance against the best. Best "loss" ever.

But the beer celebration with little kids, while wildly inappropriate, was totally earned. And Buttermaker learned to be a better person and even though they lost, at least they aren't the Yankees.
