I don’t like Obama but this isn’t really true. He was one of the main drivers of moving the space program to commercial fixed price contracts. He took a big risk and was a huge driver behind spacex being able to compete with the cost plus government contractors. Probably the only thing he got right.

Since both Owens at LFT and Aviation academy at KARA are both recommended, do yall think it’s better to do flight school at a busy airport so that you are used to more traffic or a smaller airport like new Iberia?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a flight schools in the Acadiana area? I found a couple on Google but wanted to see if there were any private pilots that would recommend one over the other and why. Want to do fixed wing if that make a difference.

Couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m not an Obama fan but he did a lot to move NASA away from old space and into the commercial lump sum contracts they use today.

Ignoring the unconstitutionality of making it illegal to sell “dumb” guns anymore, that will be fought tooth and nail and I doubt it will ever pass.
My question is do yall have an issue with smart guns being on the market in addition to current guns. I have small kids in the house and would likely buy one.

Does anyone know if it is open tomorrow. Never been before and I looked at the website for the state park and it says they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Wasn’t sure what f that meant the trail was closed or just the state park office.

If I were to read the books before I watch, should I start at new spring, the prequel or start with The eye of the world.

I’m not saying first responders should have stayed. But looters definitely have come by boats in past storms. I remember when they duct taped Frank the Knife to a pole for a day because they caught him looting.

I agree with all this. We just bought a house with a pool and my kids rarely ever went outside in the middle of the day in the summer due to the heat. They are outside all day now. They will play and get in the pool when they get hot to cool off and go play some more after that.

Just went through this. It depends on the comps in your neighborhood. If you are the only pool in the neighborhood, it won’t help because there isn’t anything to compare to. If it’s half and half and houses with pools sell at a higher value, then it will help. If you are the only one without a pool, they will reduce the value.
