My guilty pleasure show.
While Kiko was really nice, his food didn’t really measure up, except for the 72-plate tasting menu.
Georgia from BD-Sailing and Bugsy from this season are fiya.
Wanted to punch Ashton in the face many times.

It all went downhill when Hannah suggested that ridiculous menu. Before that, it was more of a timing issue that could have been fixed. Hannah should have been gone a few seasons ago and been replaced by Bugsy the first time around. She's gotten worse every year.

The wife (no pics) got into the main show, but the derivatives just didn't have that certain magic of the original.
They had a reunion episode a while back where Kate announced she had left the show to move to NYC and pursue other interests. I got the feeling she thought she was going to break into Hollywood or something.

I don't get the love for Bugsy.
She's below Malie and Jess... and maybe even Hannah. And definitely below several from past seasons like Georgia and Anastasia.
I'm talking just in the looks department, it's obvious she's very good at her job.

My ex gf watched this show when it first aired. Found it interesting and still watch it. Got my current gf to watch it with me. The producers don’t even hide the fact that it is scripted. Def nice eye candy as well. I think as far as the “tips” go I think it is what the guests save by agreeing to be on the show. There is a website that people wanting to be on the show have to apply to get on. They are asked many questions including how crazy or outrageous you can get.
I read an article about a year ago that had a former guest being interviewed, and one of the things the guest said was that the producers put things on the preference sheet to get more drama. The producers put they wanted all the water toys out. One of the meals was to be a 13 course meal which they did not want. The person said she could not eat anything past the 6th course. They wanted to test the chef. That chef was Ben. It was the first BD-Med season. After that he took a break from the show.
This season is more of making Hannah ( who I’m not a fan of) be more lazy and “less passionate” and Capt Sandy being more of a bitch.
I still watch. It is nice scenery and something a few of my co workers talk about.

The funny part about this season is that Bravo accidentally let a real, genuine, nice person on the show as chef. Then the Captain (and the producers) basically crushed his soul. The Captain hovered over him, trashed his food in front of guests, and then fired him when he really didn't deserve it.
Yeah, all this. Sandy firing him and then bitching the next morning because he had not cooked her breakfast was a shite bag move.
Bitch is incompetent and smug as hell.
They do have some fine chicks in the interior crew every year though.

Didn't realize Kate was a lesbian. I know Ben was banging her for a while. There was one season where one of the deck crew kept trying to get with her too.

The Kiko shite legit pissed me off. He killed it until the vegan queens showed up. He was never going to make them happy. Sandy made it 10x worse by hovering and asking for criticism. Vegas dinner was bad but the guests never complained. Rest of the food on the charter was solid. Kiko is a good man for finishing it out. He didn’t owe Sandy that after what she did. I used to like her on the previous BDM seasons but she’s a real micromanaging bitch this one. One a side note: Pete is a creep but him being cut out of the show is BS

I love that I'm not the only one who watches this show. It's my one hour of trash TV a week. Sandy is annoying me so much this season with the hovering.
