BB comes on FX tonight at 7. Looking forward to re-watching it as it's been years since I've seen it. Then it's TDK on thursday.

Top Villains would be:

Joker
Ra's
Bane
Everyone else

Joker: because well...

Ra's: Other than Bane is the only one that has caused Batman/Bruce true mental pain. And has even fought along side Batman. Also he is Bruce's baby's grandpa.

Bane: Opened Arkham and let loose EVERYONE. Pushed Batman to the edge and then broke his back and tossed him to the side saying "it wasn't even worth it."

I guess I'm the only one that really like The Riddler. I thought Nolan could have killed it with him. Heck I would have been fine with Nolan bringing Jim Carey in to re-do his take on him.

I think Joker inflicted some mental pain when he killed Robin

Anyone doing the marathon thing and going to see BB and TDK before seeing TDKR? More than a few movie theaters have this as a promotion.

I would have liked to have seen Nolan's take on the Riddler, guessing it would have be a homicidal, serial killer like in Seven.

But I do believe we are getting three completely different types of Batman movies - origin, havoc, and a war film (as Nolan has described the last one).

That's the type of thing I was hoping for. I guess they decided they needed something "bigger" for the last movie than just catching a single killer.

Nobody liked Jason Todd not even Jason Todd. Besides he's alive and running under The Red Hood.

Why would batman need to return to catch one killer in a city with 7 million people?

Exactly...he needs a "bigger" story. But I do think Batman meets Seven would've been cool.

Begins is better. I've always maintained that. From a pure story telling/rewatchabilty perspective, Begins blows TDK out the water.

This. Right. Here.

Your stupid "oh man I'm jimping" and "so emotional" shite in every thread would be the trolling not a differing opinion

I enjoy riddler, penguin et al maybe more because they are more classic villains but when ra's appears that means shite is serious and there is something large at stake

Yeah. It's my point really. When Riddler is on the scene it's merely "What wacky puzzle does he have for our detective this time?" Penguin merely runs a few illegal operations with tops a dozen or so people killed. When Ra's shows up though, you know it's well planned and executed and will result in thousands if not millions (and rarely billions) will be killed if he gets his way.

And Croc can definitely be compared to the rage in Batman. Just because they don't physically look alike doesn't mean they can't be a paradox of each other.

Aside from his strength, I don't see how Croc is any shade of Batman. He's merely a mindless monster and is probably the dumbest of all Batman's villains.

Because he would more or less be Joker Light. Definitely not the route to take it. You may as well recast the Joker with any plot that's he's threatening to the city.

That sounds like Zsasz's MO really, not Riddler's. I would have like to seen Zsasz more well done, but I don't think you can push the stakes down this far. They must be raised with bridges and stadiums blowing up with everyone in the city being possible collateral.

Not to mention paralyzingly Barbara Gordon and the dozens of other unspeakable acts he's committed.
