The same way telling a kid to get in a cherry picker in 60 mph winds is.

This must be George Santos posing as Mike Johnson. Careful there George, Johnson likes to have his son check his spank bank history.
Add Shelby Baron for Wheelchair Tennis and Abby Bauleke for Women’s Wheelchair Basketball for the Paralympics.

While the old soundtrack is awesome in the new RE2 it can distract you from hearing the Tyrant’s steps. I played through Leon A with the old soundtrack on, but turned it off for other play throughs.

Look in the back of the book.
I’m a little past halfway through. I love it. Not sure exactly where you are, but there’s a part in between all that political intrigue where I found myself thinking, “oh shite! Are we finally about to find out what the frick happened there?” I don’t want to spoil what “there” is, but you’ll know what I’m talking about when you get to it... if you haven’t figured it out through the context of this post.
Here are some I’ve read recently:
Mindhunter
Green River Running Red
Columbine
Illusion of Justice
The Innocent Man

Out of those Mindhunter is definitely my favorite. I read it before the show came out, so I didn’t jump on the bandwagon.

Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail ‘72.

Has anyone said Teague’s pick six high step or his strip against Miami?

re: Best way to read Marvel comics?

Both above post are good suggestions. One thing to warn you about Marvel comics is they tend to do big crossover events that “changes everything” very often, so make sure to use wiki if you don’t want to follow everything leading up to the event, because it can be a lot.

My recommendation for that quest is to Co-Op it. Have your friends drop down and kill two (or three) of the Eaters. Trigger Siegmeyer and then they can instea kill te last two.

Or use poison arrows and wait it out...

Get the deluxe edition if your going to get DS3. And no, you don’t have to play the other ones to understand what’s going on. There’s a narrative there but it’s not necessary to enjoy the game. I just finished the Soulborne gauntlet (Bloodborne and DS1-3) from March to a week ago, and it’s some of the most fun I have ever had in gaming.

Probably one of the easiest bosses in the game.

KILL HER!!!

For real, her defense and HP are awful.
Read Tai-pan. I liked it better than Shogun. Can’t say anything about Gai-jin, because I have not read it yet. I think it’s the longest in the series, which I think what is keeping me away from it. And from what I understand, yes it’s best but not necessary to read them in order.

ETA: Definitely read Lonesome Dove before Tai-pan. Just because Lonesome Dove is fricking awesome!
One of the best he wrote. IIRC it’s his first meeting with Ralph Stedman.

A little off topic, but some coworkers and I were discussing how, “We were somewhere near Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold,” is up there for opening lines with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” in literature. But of course it doesn’t get mentioned enough because Thompson was part of the counterculture, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas isn’t taken seriously.

The man had a way with words, and continued that cynicism that we all love about him all the way up to the end. Titling his suicide letter “Football Season is Over,” is absolutely brilliant. I would love to hear his commentary today.

Sorry for the hijack. Carry on.

re: Shogun Map Help

Posted by thatguy1892 on 4/19/18 at 2:00 pm to
Can’t help you with a map, but I can tell you to look for information on “Tokugawa Shogunate.” That should lead you to a map that can give you information on these locations.
You didn’t. Plus Mel is still at the wall with Shireen. The only way I think Shireen gets burned is if it’s done to bring back Jon. Stains is in a fairly well fortified place with a frozen lake surrounding it, he’s also one of the best strategist left in the seven kingdoms going up against a brute force dumb Frey. He’s not falling anytime soon.

I would say to take anything past season 5 of the show with a grain of salt.

at least with BB I could rally health back.

There’s two rings and some weapons art that allows you to do this in DS3. Though it’s not as substantial as BB, it’s helped me out a lot in DS3.

The Dragonborn Chair- Tad Williams

I had read something a few months back that this was a very misunderstood series. Someone had wrote that people treated it as just another cliche fantasy series, but that it really wasn’t, and needed to be read. So I’m giving it a shot.
Recently started this myself. Also my first journey into Souls games. I’m a little further ahead of you, but it’s awesome to read that someone else is also starting the Souls journey.

I was so confused at the beginning that I had to start over three times. I spent two hours karate chopping everyone before realizing how to equip my weapons.
Eye of the World felt like I was reading the novelization of a Final Fantasy game.
Love this novel. Read it a few years ago and knew I wanted to read the rest of The Asian Saga. Read Tai-pan last year, and to me it was even better. You have picked a fantastic one, my friend.

After a nice little intro to the year I’ve decided to throw a curveball into my challenge. After close to two years of stepping away from the series I’m going to return to The Wheel of Time. Starting A Crown of Swords today. Good luck everyone that is continuing their 2018 challenge.

The Stone Sky. The last book in the Broken Earth Trilogy. Depending on how the rest of the year shapes out, this could be he first trilogy to sweep the Hugo’s.

re: SNES Classic came in today

In the Giygus fight in Earthbound as I’m typing this.

I think the underrated gem on the Classic SNES is Kirby’s Dream Course. A buddy and I played it last weekend and had a fricking blast. It’s like Battle golf.
Just started is today, and with only 34 pages in I can already feel the tension.
Sorry, are the photos showing up sideways on y’all’s side? I’ll use a different host site for the other photos.

I have more, but this is what I could upload at halftime of the women’s alumni wheelchair basketball game.
