I honestly did not think that anyone preferred the prequel duels to the originals
Even when I was in denial that the prequels sucked, I hated the light saber duels...

It was the only one that did not have flawless choreography an had a bit of tension
Plus the emperor could discover anakin, he'd get the princess. The bad guys reveal themselves I the good guys. This is the only duel in the prequels with anything going on, even though it's not much...
