I have zero faith in Amazon..

Plenty of ways Amazon to screw it up, but it’s a great world for a show to be based in and has room for creative control. I’m looking forward to it.

We all know there will be no one more giddy to talk about that possibility than you and unknownknight, based on how you guys bring it up, unprompted, so often.

Can we just get New Vegas 2?

these open world RPG seem really hard to nail the adaptation.
There’s no story links to follow, only a loose structure. The Fallout universe is perfect for a video game, but I think any attempt to put it on live action TV would look silly.
Best case scenario it’s ultra realistic and not cheesy and funny. At that point, why even brand it Fallout?

true
honestly, an episodic approach might be nice. everything now feels like it’s telling one long story an adventure of the week would be a great approach with some overarching storyline that moves a long here and there.

This dude already bringing the badge before it even drops. The Kaiju shtick.

I guess the master will not be involved.

Possibly my favorite video game of all time. Up there with The Last of Us.

I'm sure the series will be all over the place.

The first fallout game was on PC and it was RPG game of the year.

OK princess what is it that I said they got you all fussy this time? Yes, I have played this, but only sparingly. Never said anything negative about it, simply predicting that the production value will be lesser than it is for the game. Which is pretty common place for most games that are adapted to TV or movies.
Prove me wrong.
* and while I don’t watch “shite“, I do watch a hell of a lot more stuff than most. Which is one reason why I have a good background in understanding why most of today’s TV and movie offerings are piles of hot garbage .

Fallout is perfect for TV.
Enough content to work with that could last more than several seasons.

I am glad they are figuring out these stories are well written and already done for them. The problem comes when they try to change things or cut corners. Keep the blue hairs out of the room and it has a chance

That was my thought as well. They could throw in some episodes dedicated to the fricked up vault experiments.

My buddies absolutely fricking hate seeing me play elder scrolls or fallout. I always play a stealth character with no armor and shitty weapons and one shot everything. My buddy was furious because I ran into some building without thinking in fallout Vegas, I think, and the place was loaded with enemies and I didn’t have any weapons on me so I would stealth in and out of the door punching them for like 3 hours to kill them all and they all stuck around and we’re betting on if I would die or not.
In fallout, at most, my guy would have a suit, fedora and sunglasses with some type of pistol and a sniper rifle. But I carried like 300 pounds of nukacola to heal up.

when i play skyrim I always end up making a stealth archer and spam that Faendal hack where you get him to be your companion then pay him to teach you archery then take your money back. so you can walk out of Riverwood at level 10 with a lot of archery levels.
but i’m Fallout alway just do a power suit build.

In Skyrim I grab a full stealth build but I use duel daggers in a dark brotherhood robe
