When you get to a certain part, the answer is unavoidable scheduling conflicts.
I looked it up immediately. Was very disappointed.
My heart was racing pretty much the whole 3rd episode tonight

Disney should be fined for false advertising for including the 8 minutes of credits as part of the official runtime.
It’s what they do.

I don't know why but Bix taking care of the Doctor hit me in the feels

2 minutes of "previously on", 8 minutes of credits, 10 minutes of commercials.
Just download the torrent and that 65 minute runtime turns into 45.

I liked these even more than the initial three. They nailed the WWII European resistance aesthetic on Ghorman. I’ll save spoiler thoughts for tomorrow.
In my head, Ghorman is Space France.
Also, I have a few questions/comments following these episodes:
1. I really hope the Ghorman guy crying at the end becomes a big part of the season, because, if he isn't, that whole scene really missed. Cinta and her girlfriend have hardly been in this season. They may have spoken 10 words between them before the 6th episode. Then, they really telegraphed Cinta dying; first by saying she would tell a story later then by reiterating over and over again that they would walk away if it seemed wrong. So, I don't really care enough about Cinta for that whole speech at the end to mean anything to me. However, if it leads to something bigger, I will say it made sense.
2. Was killing Gorst and blowing up the building at the end a rogue mission by Bix and Andor? Or was it something Luthen actually planned? Maybe I got distracted, but it seemed the second to last scene Bix and Andor were in was when he promised to take her on the next mission while looking at the flashing light. Then, they are in it. I will assume that was the mission, especially because Lommi seemed like he was immediately going to tell Luthen about Gorst moving to a new division, but it just seemed quite risky for a Luthen mission.

I do like this season, but the Ghorman thing was a bit forced with the girls.
I don't really care about their relationship, that they were lesbian lovers etc. They're peripheral to the story. It's just not as moving as, say, Andor and Bix being intimate. Or even Dedra and Syril.
Now, regarding the actual raid, and the aftermath... I actually would have told her to shut the hell up. This isn't their planet, they didn't do any of that to help the Ghormans, just to strike at the Imperials. Everyone else in the room is in this for Ghorman.
So they came in as expert outside advisors to show how to do it, and the only casualty is one of them. And the other one was totally overwhelmed by that, was standing around in shock and would have blown the raid. The Ghormans, multiple times, told her "we have to go". And then, she goes off all high and mighty on them afterwards.
It just put me off.

I think Luthen knew it was risky but worth the risk to help Bix and Cassian. After the visit to the safe house and Cassian breaking protocol to visit his antique shop, he could see he was at a much higher risk of losing his best assets.

I got a lot of France, especially with the fashion industry and citizenry. The architecture and weather made me feel like I was watching Number 24 on Netflix. It’s a newer movie and true story about a decorated member of the Norwegian Resistance and I highly recommend it if it interests you.

In hindsight you aren't wrong.

The guy who wrote these three episodes, along with the Narkina 5 arc from last season, 23 episodes of House of Cards, and executive produces Severance (and co-wrote the second half of S2) is writing James Mangold’s Dawn of the Jedi movie. That’s exciting to me

That’s a good point. Risky mission but it was a prime target who was on the verge of doing even more damage to people on a larger scale, plus it would greatly improve the morale of Bix/Andor.

Speculating who has to die before the ned to make Rogue one mean something.
1) Bix
2)Luthen
3)Vel
4) Leida

Definitely Bix, Luthen, Wilmen, and Vel.
I’d also add Syril and Deedre.
(Still holding out hope my boy Syril does a professional wrestling baby face turn and saves the day. Maybe kills Deedre to stop the death of the Ghormans. And then takes out his mother for good measure)

Damn the last 20 minutes of the third episode this week is a master class in inducing anxiety

Caught up and feel like I can finally post in the thread...
A few observations/wonderings:
The orange and black flight suit that Cassian was wearing to steal the TIE...makes me wonder if the orange and white flight suits of the Rebellion were old Imperial suits.
If this weeks episode block was 3 BBY and the Tarkin Massacre happened 16 years before, that would put it at 18/19 BBY, right after the events of Revenge of the Sith.
Am I remembering correctly than in Rebels, Mon Mothma gave a speech about a massacre on Ghormon? Maybe she was referring to the Tarkin Massacre, but I wonder if we get another mass killing that is the turning point to really pop off the Rebellion?
