Dylan Allen has accused him of molesting her when she was 7. Who knows the truth but that is as bad or worse.

The difference is that there was no he said/she said in Polanski's story. He plead guilty to one of the charges as a part of a plea deal to drop the other charges and to get time served and probation. The judge agreed to it as well. When word got to his attorney and the prosecutor that the judge was bragging about how he got a guilty plea out of him and he was going to put him in prison for the rest of his life, Polanski fled.
There's no doubt from any side on Polanski. He admitted to doing it.

I am aware. But scrub called someone stupid for equating the two people. I'm not going to call someone stupid because they choose to believe the little girl who said she was molested. I don't know if she was lying, but if someone wants to believe the victim I don't find that necessarily stupid.

I think some allegations of Mia 'coaching' the kids have been put out there.
The whole saga is a perfect combo of NYC and Hollywood all wrapped into one.

Out of the multitude of marriages and involvements that Allen and Farrow have had with each other and with others, Allen's 24 year marriage with Soon-Yi is by far the longest.
Farrow and Allen were together for 12 years, and that was three times as long as any of their other marriages or relationships.
The weirdest marriage out of all of their weird couplings ended up being the one that lasted.

He was exonerated on this accusation by the Yale New Haven Child Sexual Abuse Clinic. It's obviously true that if he actually abused a small child, then that is horrific. It's just not obvious at all. In fact, the evidence would seem to indicate otherwise.
Whereas with Polanski, the facts are not even in dispute: he anally raped a not-fully-conscious 13 year old!

There was a doc on them about a decade ago when she was in her 40's and he was in his 70's. They gave a lot of access so the crew could film them as they went about their daily business. The gist ended up being that they're a boring married couple. He's always had a kind of workman like process for his films, doesn't socialize outside of his music with his band, and she's pretty much his support system and manages the family.

She does come off as an out of touch nut job.
But the facts are facts about Woody. Dude's a creep. But he's been protected/embraced/defended by the Hollywood types for 30 years.
Beyond just another story about a pederass, this is also a story about the entertainment/media elite and their hypocrisy and idiocy.
