You are pretty out of touch if you don’t know every HS sporting event is required to have security.

that's not what i said.
I"m aware they are required.

My point still stands that's its beyond ridiculous that a police officer is REQUIRED at a high school basketball game.

we should REQUIRE a police officer or 40 to walk up and down Plank Road all night.

#1 in white needs to be done the season. That step over bullshite is exactly that.

And that's not the only time Liberty players has done that this year. It seems to be a staple for them. They did it TWICE against Plaquemine High this year with players stepping over an opposing player.

and why on earth do you need a police officer at a fricking high school basketball game? What the hell do you expect 1 police officer to do in this circumstance?

We had to have an officer at all rec basketball games the last two weeks of the season and playoffs.

Why? Problems with the adults fighting and going onto court.

Hardly, If I had to wager the penalties will be harsh on both especially for home team.

If I remember correctly, they cowered back from Zachary a few years ago in baseball.

Not really and that was the previous admin(you know they one that gave us the split)

First TC and Z were both banned from playoffs and both HC were suspended for the remainder of the season. Then TC wiggled their way back into the playoffs and Z was let back in a few days later.

If my memory serves me correct on this a parent was prosecuted for going onto the field.

There were 6 benches clearing brawls in 2012 in baseball and Z was the only one that was really in danger of not being allowed in playoffs.

really simple solution.
Every game being played in being recorded, and i don't mean by cell phones, but there's that too.
If you get caught running on the court or field in an altercation like what happened here and you aren't a player/coach or administrator, then you will be arrested and either fined or jailed.

Tyrus Thomas had no discipline at the pro level, which is why he is coaching.

I agree and I know where they get it from. The dude who stepped over the guy on the ground and lingered over him should be suspended for that alone. I don’t blame the guy on the ground. It’s the arse who thinks he’s the shite for stepping over a guy on the ground and letting his nuts linger.

Eh… I’m honestly not sure.

BRMHS is clearly quality. I’m less sure about Liberty along with Scotlandville.

I think it is considered better than the other publics in town outside BRMHS but still not a great school.

You got it mostly correct. Z parents had to sue to injoin the LSHAA. They were going to let TC back in but not Z. I think as soon as the suit was filed LHSAA backed off the ban.

Will be interesting to see how this goes.
