When I was coaching, Lafayette was one of the best associations you could get for playoffs.

I was Lafayette Association
great group of guys, still talk to a bunch of them
I hung it up after the 2013 season when I moved
I got to the Sweet 16 in yr 8 and was on my way to getting to work the Top 28
gave it up because i didnt want to start over in Texas at 42
I should have kept going though

when you are solid official and you move it doesn't take long for the new association brass to figure it out.

Zachary coach has come out and provided evidence that none of his players outside of the one he tried to protect were involved. No parents, and no Zachary students. The ones on the court stayed outside of the brawl.

outside of the one who threw the first punch

fixed it for you.. and I generally like the Zach coach much better than what is going on at Liberty.. but his kid threw the first punch and escalated everything quickly

Then suspend the kid. The entire team outside of him was composed. I've never heard of an entire team losing playoff privileges over one player fighting.

There were already 2 instances this year one from jamborees and one from a few weeks ago.. everyone knew what would happen...also funny the Z coach is calling the Liberty push a "swings/push".. if #10 for Z does not throw the 1st punch, Zach would have shot technical fouls there and won by 25-30... He is a good coach, can't believe he is going this route and blaming LHSAA, #10 was their whole problem not the LHSAA
