Did Mahomes forget how KC benefitted from that iffy call in the super bowl Vs the eagles? Did he thank the refs then? Also, had KC scored a TD, there was still 1:13 left and 3 TOs for Buffalo to win the game. So it wouldn’t of mattered anyway.

The refs completely missed that DPI on MVS at the end of the Packers game last week, so I could understand the frustration of thinking you got screwed by the refs two weeks straight.

I could maybe give them a pass in the moment, but they were definitely wrong yesterday and I don’t know how him or Andy Reid lack that much self awareness to at least take a look and realize they’re wrong before doing the press conference.

Before yesterday I’d say I was a fan Patrick Mahomes. Dude has been a generally likeable guy in the NFL

You haven’t paid close enough attention. Mahomes has always been a whiny bitch.

Had no idea Mahomes said that to Allen after the game.

Entitled athletes, both pro and college, are the worst.

The NFL has rigged so many games for Mahomes and the Chiefs. It isn't like the season ended on a CORRECT call. The NFL will assure the Chiefs do not miss the playoffs. What a bitch.

He should be pointing that reaction at Toney.

Dude was offside bottom line.

If the play failed and the defense was lined up offside and the ref called the penalty requiring the down to be replayed with a 5 yard penalty. Would they decline and say the defense was not warned to not line up offside and the refs should not call a penalty on a dude lined up offside. You learn in pop Warner as a receiver. Line up and check with the line judge.

But what really bothers me is everything after the game. Crying to Josh Allen that it wasn’t fair instead of just congratulating him. Still crying at the press conference even though it was clearly the correct call.

I don't think this is about the call at all. Not to be all armchair psychiatrist, but I just think this is just misplaced anger due to his WRs.

He's dealt with wide-open drops, mental errors and penalties from this WR group that's failed to correct them as the weeks have gone on and last night was his breaking point.

He's not the type of guy to just rip into his own teammates publicly so this is really his only outlet. He knows it was the right call.

It’s like they all suddenly became regarded. Toney was damn near in the defensive backfield. Just don’t be offsides.

He came off like a spoiled little bitch that didn’t get his way.

It’s their own fault for trotting Toney out there each week to do something stupid.

Agreed. KC has the worst receiving corps in the league in my opinion. Rookie Rice is the only one who's good. They should cut their losses & ditch the rest of them next season. Also there's been several bad calls go against KC this year, most notably the Packers PI no call at the end last week. I think it all just finally snowballed up & Mahomes had enough. That said, Toney was definitely offsides & an idiot.

Agreed. But, if the Saints had a chance to acquire his services, well, I’m just that kind of hypocrite that would sing his praises.

You know I hadn't really had a problem with him before but he really did act like a little bitch yesterday.

He always seemed like a pretty solid guy, but he's obviously let the money and fame go to his head. That was an all-time temper tantrum

While the Packer pass interference was a terrible call, did everyone forget the unnecessary roughness call on GB when the defender hit Mahomes while he was still in bounds and going for a 1st down? It was basically a penalty for hitting Mahomes legally too hard

The Chiefs are pathetic with this officiating bullshite. They won a damn Super Bowl on a horseshite call for god sakes

Meh.
I just watched the video. I didn’t think it was that bad. I have acted worse than that after LSU and Saints games. I am glad there is no video of me walking out of the dome after the NOLA No Call.

As a former High School QB myself...Mahomes should have recognized the fact that his receiver was lined up offsides and moved him back. The refs gives signals if the wideout is on or offsides and many times the receiver will ask the ref if he is good.

Thus...proving my theory that the NFL has players willing to follow a script and refs help determine the outcomes.

For him to flip out over a correct call seems scripted, when last week there was a clear pass interference that was not called...why NOT freak out over that...a least that was a bad non-call.

Still a solid guy IMO, just had a bad day, and like I said I think the overall poor body of work with the WRs was the real source of his frustration and just kind of boiled over yesterday.
