Yesterday really lowered my opinion of Patrick Mahomes

Before yesterday I’d say I was a fan Patrick Mahomes. Dude has been a generally likeable guy in the NFL, despite being bailed out and winning a lot. Always seemed to be the ultimate professional and pretty classy.

I can understand having a little melt down on the sideline. Every QB loses it as some point.

But what really bothers me is everything after the game. Crying to Josh Allen that it wasn’t fair instead of just congratulating him. Still crying at the press conference even though it was clearly the correct call.

He basically told Josh Allen at midfield that he didn’t deserve to win. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another NFL QB do that. I did love Allen’s little pat on the back and smirk like “sure buddy lol”

Just like Tom Brady, it’s a lot easier to be professional and classy when things are going your way. Dude has been exposed as a Grade A crybaby.

The whole Chiefs organization is embarrassing themselves melting about that call.

If there's a QB in the league who could cry, it's him. Instead he just does his job

Did he really do this? If so, woof. QBs are allowed to melt, competitive people in a competitive game, but melting to the other QB at the end of a game is ridiculous.

I try not to judge people when they are wrapped up in emotion like that. Lord knows I’ve done some stupid things. I would hope at the very least he would call Allen today and basically admit he was being a little bitch. If he does that it would all be good in my eyes. We obviously won’t know if he does or not but that’s what I expect from someone who is a decent person and not totally soft

Yes, Allen is giving him a hug and he repeatedly keeps saying “awful call bro. Awful call.” And you can tell Allen is caught off guard

Jesus Christ. Like maybe if it was a God awful call (Saints no call, Brady/Gronk Carolina no call, ect) I kind of maybe would understand, but he's objectively wrong. Toney wasn't a bit offsides, or checked with the ref and the ref okay'd it, he was a good foot plus past the ball.

Pretty much everything else that happened is la nothingburger to me. shite happens.

But the interaction with Allen after the game is a really really bad look. That was fricked up. Hopefully he manned up and apologized to him for that shite.

I’d agree but there are plenty of other QBs who were crybabies on the field but stayed classy after the game. Although Brady was known for going straight to the locker room in some games he lost. That’s still better than what Mahomes did.

I agree 100%. Especially considering they are actually friends off the field, and Allen watched his defense and coaching staff completely frick him over against you Pat in the playoffs and he still manned up at midfield and gave you all the praise after the game

Yeah that's bad. I like Mahomes and actively root for the Chiefs, but that's really a dislikeable moment.

His reaction was so bizarre. I am all for piling on shitty officiating but that wasn't even a bad call

This. I'm so frustrated because now refs are going to circle the wagons and use this as their argument that they unfairly get shite on. Hell, he may even have beef that it was offsides on Von Miller for the third down play on the last drive yet they are picking this as the line in the sand. Insane.

The best is chiefs fans are looking at this pic and saying “Toney is even with Von miller!!!They both should have been offsides”

No, you stupid fricks, Toney is just so far offsides he is actually lined up even with the defense
