It’s not really an excuse. A 91mph homerun is flukey, just as a 106moh ball being an out is flukey
That’s not necessarily true. Spin on the ball from the pitch, how the spin changed based on where it was hit, exit angle and velocity all have an affect. Back spin can help keep it up, top spin can make it crater faster. That is without even considering the wind.
Just sounds like idiots trying to find excuses.
Roof closed = Yankees bitching.
Roof open = Yankees bitching.
They are insufferable.

Are their wind anemometers stationed inside the stadium ? On top of MMP ? Do we know what the wind speed was outside the stadium from the NWS ? I want to see some data.

LSU fans constantly whine about officiating and game times at home.
This complaint isn’t a fairness issue. It’s just fricking hot. For players of both teams, and especially for fans.

Are there any Philly fans on the site??? All the years I have been on here I have yet to see one.

a 106 mph grounder to the gloves side is an out more often than a 91 mph dribbler in the hole
Exhibit A: Altuve's blistered ground out that turned into a DP last night. Maybe he should've blamed the unfairness of physics during the postgame interview.

ees in April: No Excuses … Yankees Now: Muh Roof by SDVTigerWouldnt be suprised if the Stros are cheating yet again. I mean thats kinda there thing
Except in 2017 the Astros played better on the road (better record) than at home where they were allegedly cheating. They won the WS ON THE ROAD as the Dodgers had a better record that year. And to top it all off, that season ALL MLB TEAMS received letters in September to stop including the 2 that started it, you guessed it the Yankees and Red Sox. They shouldn’t have even made it to the playoffs.
So setting the record for the most consecutive Championship Series appearances is luck and cheating. Some of you are shockingly naïve.

And they learned that from Carlos Beltran when he came from the YANKEES….
He told them they were doing it wrong…

The Cubs have won the same amount of World Series the last ten years as both teams have combined. So try another insult I'm sure will hurt

Yankees in May:
quote:
Aaron Judge may have homered twice as part of a four-hit night on Tuesday in the New York Yankees' 5-4 victory against the Baltimore Orioles (box score), but after the game he was in a venting mood. Despite earning the win and producing an impressive individual statline, Judge made sure to express his annoyance with Camden Yards' redesigned left-field dimensions after they robbed him of a potential hat trick.
Judge's frustration stems from his first hit of the game, a double that would've been a home run had the Orioles not installed a taller, deeper wall. Judge's double, which traveled 399 feet per Statcast's data, nearly left the park anyway.
"It's a travesty, man," Judge said, according to Bryan Hoch. "I'm pretty upset. It just looks like a Create-A-Park now."
Yankees manager Aaron Boone took a similar shot at the Orioles and their construction, telling Hoch: "He almost had three (homers), but Build Your Own Park got him."
