December 11th 1993. Jets visit Redskins in a Saturday afternoon game nationally shown on NBC. Neither team can move the ball. Jets win a 3-0 snoozefest.

UGA-Georgia Southern in 2015.
The Dawgs barely pulled it out in overtime. I was so disgusted that I left at halftime and only started watching again in the 4th quarter.

As a Tulane fan, I’ve seen more horrible football than I care to remember, but the worst for me was watching ULM whoop our arse 63-10 in front of like 900 people
I was living out of state at the time and during that week i was moving from one apartment to another.... i had planned to fly in for that game and fly back the next day to continue moving. I am soooooo glad that i decided last second to just get the move over and done with.
For me personally the worst one i saw in person (and both teams just were not good) was 2006 10-9 victory over UCF. Not only was the game horrible, the same 900 people were at the game, the Superdome shut down all but 1 or 2 concession stands (i believe either right before or right after halftime) which led to a loud shouting match between a few tulane fans and the concession manager.... all that.... plus it was the first game i ever brought my girlfriend (now ex-wife) to. I had kinda given her a heads up that the game wasn't going to be any good.... but wow.... she asked me on the ride home (in her most polite way) if all the games were like that.

2009 Iowa State/Nebraska.
Iowa State won 9-7. Nebraska had 8 turnovers.

On TV: 3-2 AU/MSST game.
Just horrible football.
In person: has to be 2000 Iron Bowl in freezing rain. 9-0 win for the Tigers but my God that game was brutal to sit through.
Honorable mention is the 2003 season opener where USC curb stomped Auburn 23-0. AU had about as much preseason hype as I've ever seen and comes out and looks pathetic all around.

Louisville vs Rutgers 2008. Rutgers led 49-0 at halftime. Final was 63-14. Humiliating and I remember Chris Fowler joking on us that whole game

This may be recency bias, but last year’s opener for the Titans vs. Dolphins was pure suck.
With two lightning delays it became the longest game in NFL history. Neither team played worth a damn, and the Titans dropped a game they should have won, which came back to bite them at the end of the season.

2008 UT v Auburn was a disgrace to football.

Yes. Sometimes you see something and the first thing that pops into your mind is "instant gif classic"

2008 AU/MSST but for me it’s multiple games from our 2012 season

For some dumbass reason I had uga-13.5 to finish off the last leg of a big parlay. I was stoked when they scored easily on their first drive, only to play like shite the remainder. Really wanted them to lose since they weren’t going to cover.

Yes, 2000 Iron Bowl was brutal. Alabama also got it’s shite pushed in by Southern Miss the same year which takes a runner up spot for me.

Dallas vs Washington MNF about 2001. Both were winless and horrible
There was a Patriots vs Bengals game that was like 7-2. David Shula was the HC of the Bengals. We got it in Missouri for some reason.

Oregon State - Pitt Sun Bowl. Admittedly I didn’t watch all of it, but by 1/2 time it was so bad I couldn’t look away.

Saw Ole Miss beat Memphis 3-0 in the Liberty Bowl when I was a kid. Absolutely miserable the entire time

Your excellent reminder got me thinking:
LSU's performance was the most head scratching performance in a big game I have ever seen...I have been watching sports since 1980....
I know they simply sucked but it looked like they actually threw the game. I KNOW THEY DID NOT throw the game but it sure looked like it.
I have never seen a more poorly prepared/coached game by the staff with the obvious shite performance that followed.
