“I think we just haven’t been given those opportunities,” Clark said on Yahoo Finance Live (video above).

Data indicates that Clark may be onto something: Football, baseball, and men’s basketball lead all NIL activities, per Opendorse, and account for nearly half of all NIL activity, while women’s basketball represents less than 5%.

I thought 18% was >5%

Summary: if women aren’t getting their asses kissed and given a bunch of money, we have to do something about it.

They give so little a shite about it they couldn’t even label the chart correctly.

it's also only for schools using Opendorse. It's not the whole picture.

Now do a chart of each with dollars spent related to the sport. I would be surprised if the number didn't suddenly look like they were either even or in favor of the women relative to revenue generated.

free market. Women athletes aren't as financially marketable as male athletes. Of course she knows this already, but she'll pretend she doesn't.

I'm guessing the order is football, MBB, WBB, then maybe baseball, but not sure, S&D, softball, and other. Baseball could be other.

Women's sports product is terrible. The same skill levels are present in most high school boy's teams.

There’s also 5 times the number of football athletes.

Plus. Let’s see Livy Dunnes bank account.

Livvy Dunne probably makes more off of NIL than any athlete at LSU. Just off of her social media followers.

Maybe softball/basketball players should be more attractive?

And no one is following her because of her abilities in gymnastics.

Women's gymnastics didn't make the cut? I thought there had been some fairly big deals signed there.

I'm honestly surprised the number for women's basketball is as high as it is.

I follow her and have no idea if she's even a good gymnast, so yes you are correct
